Much needed product!!!
I have struggled with low back pain for the last 12 years. I’m only 33, but once I had my two children back to back, my hips added insult to injury. I saw so many recommendations how to release your psoas but also, I’ve ALWAYS had piriformis pain resulting in tight hamstrings, glutes, the whole 9. I felt broken at such a young age. Not to mention posture, tight neck and shoulders. You name it. In ONE session of myofascial release on my Psoas and low back support muscles, I feel blood flow. I know it will take consistency but wow!!! This is just what I needed. I can play with my kids on the floor longer, get up and walk without the 10 minutes of tight hip flexors. THANK YOU THRIVAL!! Note- this board I ordered with just the bullseye doesn’t have the additional attachments but I will definitely be buying them with each paycheck.

Works well, and made in USA!
Update: I'll leave my old review up in case anyone else runs into the same issue, but updating to 5 stars. After feeling salty about global manufacturing practices and dishonest companies for a few hours, I had a self righteous moment of "I'm writing an angry letter, I'm sure THAT will show them" and did just that. I received a quick response from the owner; evidently some of their early models were produced abroad, and I received one of these items (They've since moved production to Ohio). The owner was super responsive and very applogetic. 5/5 customer service, seems like a solid small business and not (as I was concerned) someone deliberately trying to mislead customers. I used to work in a Sports Medicine setting, I've used a lot of exercise and recovery equipment, and it's really difficult to find domestically manufactured stuff that I'm not priced out of. Happy to have found a company to keep in mind for future purchases! ------ One of the reasons I purchased this over the competition is that it's heavily marketed as "made in the USA." Lo and behold, it's literally stamped "China" on the bottom. I try to buy domestic when I can, so this false advertising was pretty disappointing. Function: Works just as well as the "name brand" psoas release board, the adjustability is nice for those with narrow or wider hips. Appearance: It arrived loose in a box and the plastic was a bit scuffed up. Not a big deal, it doesn't impact function, just one of those early distribution kinks I'm guessing the company will sort out over time.

Ok depending on what relief you need
I bought this to help with tight hip and psoas on one side. You can remove and adjust the tool (wide or narrow, or just use one side). This is a great bonus. I didn’t receive the “meat grinder” tool that was listed in the manual, but maybe I got a lower price model. I was originally looking at the hip hook, but didn’t want to spend the $$$ not knowing if it would even work. This tool has same concept for a fraction of the price. I’ve gotten some relief, but it’s not life changing. This tool really can dig into your muscles, and it can be painful, so maybe I’m not holding for long enough to get the muscle release. Overall, it’s worth buying!

Most aggressive way to hit those trigger point release areas.
I have used foam rollers (too soft), Thera-canes (too cumbersome to do a lot of work), lacrosse balls(too small), and larger 8" trigger-point balls (too large a radius to get deep). All of these tools together provide a moderate way to work on your legs, back, or shoulders, but none alone are amazing, and none of them can reach into your psoas. Thrival has come up with the best tool for getting deep tissue trigger point release, especially into your psoas, that I have used thus far. It is versatile enough to be used on just about any muscle fiber in your body using jut your bodyweight and gravity to apply pressure. it will require some core strength to properly manage the perfect amount of pressure, but then you are getting a workout at the same time, which isn't a bad thing, especially if you are breaking up your desk-chair work periods into 30 or 60 minute sessions. The only criticism I can find is that it is difficult to use both tools on the board at one time. I prefer to use one at a time to really focus on any single spot. and fortunately, the board is built very stable such that you can roll around and push into the tool without the board moving around or collapsing. Its very well designed for structural stability.

Invest in learning how to use- it pays off!
Excellent tool for locating pain points. You can adjust the width to ensure you locat the appropriate muscle spots that are causing problems. In addition the videos available help to located muscle groups and create an exercise plan that facilitates improvement. I am recovering from hip surgery and was in excruciating pain. My therapist encouraged me to use this tool daily to release the right muscles and relax the nerves. Takes a few tries to get used to but the relief I feel has made it so worth the effort.

Serves intended purpose
It looks and sounds very easy to use. However, when you are overweight and out of shape it’s not so easy. The plastic is very hard on my body which I know serves a purpose and I think some padding would help. It’s not bad I just need to figure out the best way that I can use it.

Excellent for pain relief!
This muscle release tool is the real deal! The concept is simple but highly effective. I suffer from lower back pain and after using the board for a few seconds, I felt like my pain improved significantly. The travel size is also very convenient, as I can store it easily in my luggage or in the closet. If you suffer from muscle aches or pains, this is a very useful tool to have.

Maybe its just me....
I used this for a week....until I noticed I had lost feeling in my upper thighs. Don't get me wrong. It definitely brought relief to my hip while I was lying on it. I followed the instructions and videos and such. But after a week, I was scratching my upper thigh and realized, "hmmm, I didn't feel my fingernails as much as I normally do". I started feeling around and, while I would likely feel a needle if one was stuck there, there is a very noticeable level drop of feeling in that area. It has been a few weeks now since I stopped using this tool, and there the lack of feeling is still present. And while I love the relief I got while lying on it, I'd rather have feeling in ever part of my body.

Helpful for psoas relief
When I got this, I liked the solid quality but the silicone cover was missing. Without it, the bullseye was still effective in the relief. It’s helpful that it’s adjustable compared to others and can be packed away as well. I wish it was lower to the ground so I can lie down fully. I emailed the company support email and they shipped the missing pieces. Took some time but glad they fixed it. I’d recommend this.

Not as expected
No silicone pads to cover the ends as pictured. The instructions also advise to use the "meat grinder" attachments for most muscle groups. Disappointed as the "bullseye" is the only attachment it comes with. I guess they want you to buy more pieces. It does adjust to my smaller body frame, which is great. The releases that I can do with what is provided feel great. Not sure if it's worth the extra money for what you can do with it though.
