Can I take this out in gravel and send it off jumps?

Light gravel yes but not big gravel or rocks this is not a big rc does great in the house drifting and with the tire swap it is good in hard packed dirt

I know it comes with rechargeable batteries but do the remotr come with regular batteries?

No we got AA batteries for the remote yes the car itself has a rechargeable battery hope this helps
