Size:510mm x 510mm (20"x20") Color:Blue Background is made of 3M adhesive , easily stick on the heat bed platform HOW TO USE: There are 2 methods to attaching the build surface on heatbed: 1. clamp the build surface to the print bed using binder clips(at least 3 clips) 2. Torn off 3M tape on back and stick it on heatbed.

Read the instructions.
My first build worked very well, however I did not use the adhesive backing and the second time I used it, the build rocked back and forth. The build surface appeared to have softened and expanded, allowing the build to pull it up and away from the glass. After peeling the backing off and adhering the mat to the glass, the build would not stay stuck to the mat. I need to experiment more with temperatures and cleaning techniques.

Grabs when hot. Models pop off when cooled down.
Almost too slick. I sanded it with a course emery board. Then a smooth. Just to give it a tad more bite and now I've never needed any glue, hairspray or other tricks to make it work. Grabs when hot. Models pop off when cooled down.

IT'S 2 FOR $36!!!
A 2 pack for $36? Others want this much for 1. You'll thx me later. This is actually my 2nd order. No more tape, no more not sticking. Applied directly to metal plate so you can ditch the extra glass weight and relieve some y axis stress. Hit it occasionally with fine sand paper to get that grip back.

Works well to hold molten plastic from 3d printer extruder to heat bed. Tried others, this is the best.
Adhesion, finally adhesion on my CR10, prints come out very well, better than with any other material so far. If you are having issues with adhesion of PLA to glass or aluminum on 3d printer head beds, this may solve your problem.

the prints stick
The prints stick and leave a rougher surface than using glass. Have not printed away from the middle yet but I have high hopes.came with a huge dent that seems to be from before shipping as there was nothing in the box to damage it.

Great adhesion but bad for heated bed
Great at part adhesion but not for heated bed above 100°C. The thermal expansion is too high at that temperature and the surface will temporally warp and lift from the bed.

Rips the bottom of the part off.
This product has too much part adhesion. Every print i made, the bottom of my test prints ripped off. I tried fully cooling the print, by waiting overnight for the entire thing to cool. For me, this product is not a functional solution to the problem. I would rather have use just glass and hairspray. Now i get to remove material off the glass, not gonna be fun.

Works great but only a few times
Yes, is fantastic at first. However, after less than a dozen prints, it stops being wonderful. The more prints they endure, the harder you have to work with the scraper to get the objects off the print bed, until you actually cut the build surface! Bah. And the 3M glue is so good that it takes HOURS to get the build surface off the glass and then get the goo off the glass.I tried on the first surface to just lay it on the glass without removing the peel-off glue backing, but when heated it bubbled up in several places. No go. So then I removed the backing and let the glue do it's thing. After it stopped working, I removed that surface, cleaned everything, bought a new piece of glass ($14,) removed the backing off the replacement and glued it down to the new glass. Same thing: ripped after less than a dozen prints. Not recommended at all unless you want to endlessly remove the surface, clean the glass, and replace with new surface. Not me, thank you very much.
