Walker Edison Shiloh Rustic Solid Reclaimed Wood Entryway Bench, 42 Inch, Amber

I was looking for a bench that could serve two functions: Entry way bench with shoe rack and dining room bench that would seat two. This piece delivers on both. I ordered the 42 inch which is a nice size without taking up too much space. The wood is solid and sturdy. Assembly wasn’t too bad but I would recommend this to be a two person job. Also, I wish there was an instructional video. It arrived early so that was good thing. I’m deducting 1 star because it arrived with an imperfection on the corner. It’s small but I noticed it during assembly. All in all I’d recommend purchasing this piece.

I was nervous about the bench when I purchased it, I won't lie and it was semi difficult for me to put together. The corner braces were hard to tighten down with my manual tools. However, it is exactly what I wanted and needed. It looks great in the entryway of my apartment and I no longer have to sit in my living room to put on and take off my shoes.As for the quality of the bench? It is very solid and quite comfortable. There is no wobbling due to unevenness. I would recommend it.

Very sturdy bench. Unfortunately a panel of veneer is missing and sitting on this bench can cause splinters. I know its supposed to have a reclaimed look, but this is clearly just damaged. Will update review when this is resolved.*Update*Was sent a replacement top a week and a half after the request. Two bolts were stripped so it was very difficult to replace. I probably should have also requested replacement hardware. Overall happy with the purchase.

I will be the first to admit that I absolutely hate assembling furniture. When I looked at all the individual dowels and screws that came with the bench, I thought "I don't wanna do this". To my surprise, the bench went together quite easily.......just follow the "instructions". I am very pleased with this bench. It is quite sturdy, fits perfectly in the space and complements my existing furnishings. I also like the fact that it has a lower shelf for shoes which also somewhat hides my Roomba....and yes, it still finds its way home to recharge! Love this little bench!

Absolutely beautiful and simple to assemble. Took me very little time. Feels and looks much more expensive than it actually was. I was originally concerned the black shelf would look out of place, but it does not. One corner had a very small chip (likely from shipping). I plan to get a little bit of stain to touch up.

The color of this bench is sadly more orange than brown, paired with the black it really looks nothing not as pictured, definitely not what I was going for.

Great bench, no there are no cushions or baskets, but is the perfect size for our entry way. It came with everything you need to put it together, though a screwdriver or drill makes assembly go faster.

I purchased this bench for our front entryway and LOVE it! It is sturdy and assembly of the bench was easily accomplished by one person. The style and look of the wood fits perfectly in our new home.
