Prepare to question everything you thought you knew. Review: Many accurate information regarding corruption nationally and internationally - Excellent book. Very dry read. Loads of information about the corruption globally and in the U.S. May have to read more than one to absorb all the information. Many "gems, pearls" that are frequently corroborated by other sources. Review: Read this and change the way you think about everything - This book may change your life. You will never see the world the same way after reading Volume I and Volume II. I initially approached Whitney Webb's two volume set with skepticism, but these books will make you want to learn even more. Even though both volumes are very long, they were so compelling, I might actually read both of them a second time: In the latter sections of the work, Webb picks up threads she'd written about earlier, and it makes you want to go back and read the earlier material all over again -- it's THAT interesting. One particularly jaw-dropping one was a senior Whitehouse aide who was found with both a noose around his neck and a gunshot wound to the chest: What kind of person commits suicide in both ways at once, or shoots himself in the chest instead of the head -- while hanging themselves? And yet, the judge ruled his death a suicide and sealed all the forensic records, so no one could challenge it. Read the books to learn who this was and when it happened. Happily, Ms. Webb is not partisan -- she unmasks corruption in both parties, and through both Democratic AND Republican administrations. I do have some concerns about the work, which do not detract stars from this mighty opus but need to be stated: There are many places where Webb cites third party books as the sources for an assertion. If she were an academic or a government researcher, she would be required to source the original finding, not the third party source. If she found the fact in a third party book, the citation should name where that third party author got it, such as by saying "Author X cites FBI records that show....." or "Author Y interviewed the surviving spouse to learn..." or "Author Z provides this information from his many years working for Mossad himself..." So, yes, I wish she had been more attentive to establishing original sourcing for all documentable assertions, but I will take what we can get, because this info is so crucial. And readers can track down the books and articles she cites, to learn the original source of information. My second "complaint" is that I was puzzled by the book titles' focus on "blackmail," per se, rather than "corruption" more broadly. Webb's thesis is so important, I felt that she lost ground by choosing a book title that focuses everyone's attention only on the "blackmail" aspect, rather than the corrupt "manipulation" of political leaders and markets and organizations more generally. Much of the manipulation is achieved via money, rather than blackmail. But since Jeffrey Epstein used blackmail, and he is ostensibly the "peg" for writing this work, I can see how it wound up with a "blackmail"-focused title. The corruption Webb documents is WAY more extensive than just blackmail, however. My third concern is that I wish Webb had pointed out that "association" does not always mean "collaboration." Webb finds a lot of links between organized crime and intelligence that could easily reflect intelligence targeting of the corrupt entity, rather than cooperation with it. If intelligence personnel turn up embedded in a corrupt venue, it's always possible that they were collecting intel, which is, obviously their mission. Much of what she cites is, indeed, very disturbing, but I would have appreciated a note admitting that entities can be "linked" for reasons other than collusion. But this is still a five star work -- This ground-breaking book deserves a much more extensive review than desertcart's paradigm permits, but let me just end with this: Everyone needs to read this two-volume book so that there can be more discussion of what needs to happen next in all of our lives, now that we know how extensively government and business are being manipulated by corrupt entities.

Who Will Guard us from the Guardians?
I've long been a cynic with respect to my trust in so-called republican / democratic government, *especially* when it comes to our foreign policy. The US has been the sycophantic lapdog for Israeli interests since the Johnson administration, at least, which I researched and documented myself in a research paper at Air University. Little did I know the extent and depth to which this corruption actually sank prior to reading Webb's extensively documented analysis. In this two-volume work, she demonstrates that organized crime, foreign policy, national and foreign intelligence, arms dealing, sex trafficking, and the buying and selling of politicians *are all one interrelated and interconnected web of corruption* protecting one another's interests and insured against exposure by blackmail, especially but not limited to sexual blackmail. And no one escapes the author's penetrating gaze. If you think Vince Foster's "suicide" was suspicious, you're not alone. If you believe FLOTUS personally authored his suicide note to cover up actual espionage against the US from the White House, well that would be worth investigating, no? But does it also tie to the Iran-Contra affair from two administrations previous? And to Watergate? And to Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump and Joe McCarthy and the Mossad? If you've previously made all those connections, there is no need to read this book. But if you haven't and you're willing to be disabused of your misplaced trust in the American political system (D or R, it doesn't matter), this is a must-read. The first volume is the background analysis of the organized crime, intelligence, and criminal "prosecution" networks that created and enabled Jeffrey Epstein, whereas the second volume deals more directly with his direct actions that are oh-so-more-involved than simply sex trafficking. It is possible that the recent collapse of the mainstream media and rise of the independent journalists not beholden to the common ownership of the former will begin the process of removing the wool long ago pulled over the public's eye. Or one can hope.

LOST INNOCENCE
The amount of detail and research put into these books is stunning.Kudos! While I knew very few of the situations discussed in the two books, I gained an understanding of the larger picture and that Epstein was but a small part of the whole. Wow what an education. thank you LOST INNOCENCE

The Truth Will Set You Free!
Whitney Webb is going to tell you the truth. Recorded and explained so anyone who cares to hear it and respond to it, can stop this corruption before it can't be stopped. Hopefully we are not their yet. Stay aware, it's easy to lie to people who don't want to hear the truth.

A must-read
Just great, as is all of Whitney Webb' thorough open resource journalism. A must-read for who wants (while we all need) to know in what kind of a world we currently live regarding the intertwining of (global and local) government, the intelligence community, organised crime, Wall Street and Silicon Valley.

Great read
This volume is as good as the first one. Reads like a serious crime novel. The fact that the author has well researched everything and no one is trying to sue her suggests that it is based in fact vs. fiction...

One of the worlds most important journalist/writers right now
Whitney is a real researcher that gets to the core of the matter and has no fear of where that trail goes, there are only a handful of people left like her who are as probing, articulate and well researched. Read her books to get real insight on the level of corruption in Western Institutions, they were rotted and corrupted from within by a small core of criminal class individuals to the point where intelligence agencies, corporate business and organized crime are all integrated, we see this now with US agencies unwilling to condemn a genocide. There are many "conspiracy" pretenders, Whitney is the real deal along with Doug Valentine.

Spying at the highest levels of the U. S. Government
A well researched exposure of the incestious nature of intelligence organizations, organized crime, corrupt politicians and business enterprises. The author did not just charge corruption and criminal behavior, she found supporting court records, corporate documents and even White House access records and aircraft manifests to illuminate and prove nefarious actions involving national politicians, British Royals, corporate CEOs, and the Mega Group. Two US super-star politicians, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump were closely associated to Epstein and therefore to Israeli intelligence. Other than being a serious pervert, crook, and liar Epstein was primarily a long-tern Israel agent of influence. He was very effective at compromising top personalities in US politics, universities, banking, and high tech firms. Epstein was so trusted by Les Wexler, founder of the Limited and Victoria's Secrets, and important supporter of Zionist causes, that he gave him completed power of attorney over all his property as well as the New York mansion where Epstein lived. For much of his career he accompanied by Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of Israel agent and British arms smuggler, Robert Maxwell. Her mission was to recruit young girls, but also to compromise persons such as Prince Albert to secure access to persons of influence. There is so much disturbing history in the book that is ignored in the mainstream media. A good stab at understanding American politics and foreign relations of the last forty years.
