TWTADE/DC 12V Electromagnetic Power Coil Relay 10A 8 Pins 2DPT 2NO 2NC with Indicator Light and Socket Base -YJ2N-LY

I was building a custom sound system in my project car requiring the placement of the amp and crossovers in an accessible location other than under the front seat because of the multiple adjustments on the amp and crossovers. So I placed it on a custom surface I'm building behind the seats where it will be visible in the cabin. I built a plastic box around it but worried that the heat from the amp would be damaging. So I designed in two cooling fans to direct air flow across the amp within the box but only wanted the fans to activate when the radio was turned on. The radio sent a triggering signal to the amp but since it's only purpose was to turn on the amp, I had doubts that it could handle the extra load of two fans. So I incorporated this relay to connect the fans to the amp power source when the radio was on. I'd never wired a relay before but after watching YouTube videos it all became clear. And the system works perfectly.

The relay appears to be of good quality. It was easy to install and included the mounting din rail and mounting screws. It worked and that all I needed. A good deal and good product.

I have numerous relays on my 12v rain water recovery system. This particular relay has become my standard. I like the mounting bracket that fits this product. I have activated this relay over a bell wire from a distance of over 100ft. Great for just about any low power project. I personally have used it to trigger a high power relay where needed. The relay itself is just a plug-in to the base so it can be easily replaced without disturbing the wiring. I suggest buying the ones with mounting bracket included.
