A couple of months ago, I left a review saying these tubes tasted too papery to me. I’m updating that review because my opinion completely changed. At the time, I had been using a Zico king size tube, and when I switched to the Zen King Size tubes, they tasted different enough that I thought something was papery….After that, I went back to smoking zico tubes 100s that I still think are excellent. Then I came back to the Zen King Size tubes. Wow. Somewhere along the way, something clicked, and now these are honestly my favorite tubes. They’re king size, they’re easy to find, they’re consistent, and now the flavor seems perfectly balanced to me. One thing that may have contributed is that I later learned these tubes are made differently than some standard cigarette papers. At the time of my first review, I may simply have been interpreting the different taste as “papery” because it was unfamiliar. Once I understood that they were intentionally designed with a different paper blend and I spent more time with them, I stopped noticing what I originally thought was a paper taste. So if you’re trying these for the first time and they seem different from what you’re used to, give them a fair chance before writing them off. That’s exactly what happened to me. See these tasted paper to me, but I didn’t return them so they were there as a backup option and when I use them it was a real treat. Today, these are the tubes I keep coming back to. The draw is good, the consistency is excellent, and the overall smoking experience is exactly what I want. I wanted to update my original review because it’s only fair to the company. My first impression wasn’t my final impression, and after spending more time with the product, I can confidently say these have become fav cigarette tubes…. ZICO is fave too but now you have two beautiful ladies to choose from Highly recommended.

The tubes was smashed up but still worked fine i didn't like how fat they are almost like camel wide cigarettes They'll work for you if its all that you have.

We have shopped around and had not been happy with any of the tubes until we bought these. We purchased a good manual tube injector and switched from smoking American Spirit Turquoise packs to Zen filters with light blue American Spirit loose tobacco. We have been very pleased with the combination of the two. The only negative feedback I have is they ship the boxes of tubes in a bag so sometimes the boxes get crushed a bit causing some of the tubes to get crushed. When this happens we just use a little metal rod put it inside the tube and role it against your hand and it smoothes out nicely. I do recommend these tubes and will happily buy the again in the future!

I really liked the way these tubes worked with the electric injector I have. Until I noticed that the filters continue to smolder after I put the cigarette out without being obvious. Because of that I won't use them now due to the fire hazard. A shame really. I loved the way these tubes behave with the machine, completely and evenly filled every time. Very well made.
