Very well made
These are nothing more than a giant nail, with a bent tab welded on, but they work better than any tent stake I've ever used. If you bend one of these, you must be driving it into solid rock with a 10 pound sledge hammer. I'll be buying more, for all my tents.

Good steel, no plastic, great length
These worked perfectly for a tent in the wind and rain and for a vegetable garden. Love that it's all steel with no plastic.

These are heavy duty!
These are heavy duty! I purchased some aluminum stakes for tarping last year and had some issues with them bending when being hammered into the damp yet rocky/rooty forest floors the PNW winters provide. As a result I wanted something longer and heavy duty. These should be perfect. They are smooth but hopefully the length will allow me to get them deep enough to anchor.

One-piece steel construction > anything with plastic.
I've used the stakes with the stupid plastic do-hickies. Solid steel stakes are much more durable. But you may never notice if you never camp in rocky or root-filled terrain. But that's the only kind of terrain I ever encounter, and it's nice to head home with as many stakes as you started with. The others slowly die by attrition.

Excellent for portable tower guy-lines
This was purchased as stakes for a 24' DIY emergency communications tower to hold the guy-lines. It hasn't been subjected to storms yet but also not moved after a week. Just worried about the coating coming off and how long the stakes will last with the metal in contact with the ground. The coating is pretty thick so should take a while for that to come off. Once it does it'll most likely flake off in chunks.

Best tent stakes around
I bought these stakes to secure a beach shelter. The winds on Sullivan's Island beach in SC can be hard on a tent, but these stakes kept in right where I wanted it. They are very sturdy and can take a beating if you need to drive them through shells or gravel.

They work
Pounded them in to some tough Oklahoma soil. They held up. However, I wish they were galvanized instead of painted. However, they do the job.

Well made
Very heavy duty and usable in many ways other than as advertised. Staking young trees, Christmas yarddecorations, anything that requires being secured to the ground.
