OREI 8K 2-Port HDMI 2.1 Switch, 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, Auto and manual Switch

This one believe it or not was recommended to me by my Ai 🤖 I asked it what’s a no nonsense switch that does 4k 120hz switches by itself and I can plug it in and forget it’s there. This and 2 other switches was recommended. The other 2 were multi switches which I felt I didn’t need as this was just for a switch 2 & the old Oled was already maxed out. So picked this. Plugged it in. About 3 weeks ago now. It switches between my ps5 and switch 2. Guys - it just works! ( as Todd says 👀) 120hz, everything.. sometimes the best thing you could say about something like this is once you plug it in you forget it’s even there. It’s just another port. Full utility auto switches. Perfect sound. If you want a simple but high quality switcher at 4k 120hz with auto switch this is it. 5/5 would recommend fully. Actually- I DID forget it was there until this reminder to review came up. That’s how good it works. ☺️ Ps - I’m using it on my OLED 55 LG tv. It comes with a power supply. 😒 I thought.. this ain’t it! But read that if it’s a powered port it should work anyway. - it did! 🫡

Does what it says 99% of the time. I wanted to hook up a PS5 and Series X to one hdmi 2.1 port on my Samsung TV. I had some initial problems as the PS5 was saying no VRR etc. This was resolved by unplugging the PS5 HDMI and plugging it back in to the switcher. Holding down the switcher button for a couple of seconds makes the green light flash and puts it in auto switch mode. It switches between the Xbox and PS5 automatically without any trouble. It adds maybe a 2 second delay to the device being ready if it has to switch. I've used it for about 50 hours now. In that time I've had 2 problems. Once it switched on it's own for no reason and once I lost sound. Both issues quickly fixed by switching manually. Overall really great product for the price.

Does what it says on the tin it switches over it’s self unless they are both already turned on but over all I’m satisfied

Had to leave a review for this as it was perfect for what I wanted. Auto switching works perfectly when just even just putting my Nintendo Switch 2 to sleep, auto switches to PS5 if that's turned on.

Auto switch does not work, with or without power supplied, have followed the instructions with the long press method to activate auto select. Very poor showing and feels like false advertising. For me it's a core function because I don't want to have to constantly manually select which input I want to use every time I use my TV. Note i have used high speed HDMI 4k 120hz hdmi cables in each input and output ports and have used the USB b power supply. Disappointed. As far as the split HDMI function goes, it seems to be fine as long as you are happy to manually switch the box every time you want to watch satellite, stream, BluRay or console.

Top marks. Connected this up to my PS5 and Switch 2 as I lost an HDMI port due to the addition of a new soundbar. I used a separate micro usb cable I had kicking about and utilised the USB socket on my TV as a power source for this product, which has worked perfectly. So far this product has worked as intended and flawlessly. Sound and picture quality are on point and the auto switch function works perfectly. Extremely happy with this product and can honestly say it is well worth the money.

I use to switch between my PS5 and computer to my Phillips 37" curved monitor. Works exceptionally well.

Works great and does exactly what I need. It's very easy to setup, and the auto switching makes it effortless to use. I tried a cheaper version HDMI switch from another brand and had issues with power leaking from one device to the other. It's worth the extra money to get the better quality of this product. It produces the sound and picture quality that is advertised. Definitely recommend!

4K, VRR, auto switching - Everything works as advertised. You can power it using usb if signal is bad, but I’m using it unpowered for my switch 2 and playstation 5. Fair price. Highly recommend.

Game changer, brancher en USB sur la TV donc fonctionne dès que la TV est allumé détecte automatiquement le changement de source… Pas grand chose à dire de plus ça permet d’avoir un HDMI supplément sur sa TV
