Born in Concrete has some unusual concepts but fun to imagine. Great for those seeking inspiration in their sketching or other artistic endeavors.

This is a truly beautiful book, and I have since bought very high quality models of these characters.

Awesome art, this is incredible. totally inspiring and very cheap i think. if you like concept art this book is going to make really happy.

Lazy layout, a small number of pages. A thick hard cover to make it thicker than it really is, also trying to make the book more "precious" than it really is.It's simply too expensive for the product.Beautifull artwork but as I said, very lazy because of the repetitive illustrations. And please, for gods sake, try to avoid those poor "photoshop tutos" trying to explain how does the "levels" works. It's just insulting for someone who just want to know the inspirations and the work of the guy who did those interesting illustrations.

This book is gorgeous! It is a very tall book with numerous high gloss pages of Stenning's art. Furthermore, it also includes Stenning's discussions on individual pieces and their meanings providing a sense of transparency that for me further enhances the art.
