I found this pad to be very effective when I needed serious muscle pain relief. I was experiencing muscle spasms in the upper and middle parts of my back, and the bigger size pad (18"x7") covered a good part of the surface area where I needed heat therapy. The softer fuzzy side was comfortable against my skin, and the pad held heat well when microwaved according to the directions. I would be interested in having an even bigger (wider) version of this pad, should the vendor choose to make that. I like that it is not electrical, therefore not requiring an outlet, which makes it usable anywhere. The natural fillers (cherry pits, organic flaxseed and other dried herbs) are not highly fragrant but pleasant if smelled up close. I highly recommend this pad for anyone needing heated pain relief.

I love this product. It’s made of natural materials very natural with a soft fabric. I needed this for menstrual pain and it arrived the same day. 90 seconds in the microwave makes a perfect temperature. Once heated, it gives off a faint herbal aroma. 12x7 is the perfect size for my abdomen and lower back.

I ordered this to help with a stiff/tight neck and upper back which causes me headaches. I've been using it for over a year and it seems like it is new still. I use it at night and pretty much followed the directions. I sprinkling some water drops on one side and then microwave for 1:30 minutes and flip it and then again for 35 more seconds and it gets it to a good temperature to use in bed (on the side without the water, the water side does get pretty hot). The size it great, not too big but provides enough coverage for it to feel like it's doing a good job. Super easy to use! Kind of a smell, but not bad, kind of a natural smell. Would recommend for the price and how it's lasted.

It does a good job at holding the heat. I bought it for my wisdom teeth removal surgery. It does hold the heat well. Unfortunately I thought the smell was unpleasant, my daughter thought it smelled fine. I got the unscented. I did have it directly on my face, I could not smell it otherwise. It seems well made and provided the relief I wanted.

I rarely have time to leave a review, but I just used this for the first time and had to leave one. I panic purchased this last night and it was so worth it. If you are wanting to lay this over your shoulders, definitely go for the bigger size even though it’s more expensive. I have a nerve issue that I will feel brewing in my neck/base of my skull until it finally launches into a full blown migraine thing that shoots from my neck around my head, covering g my eyes and sinuses. I am breastfeeding *and* pregnant, so I don’t want to use the medications that have been thrown at me for it. The only way I’ve been able to find relief is heat on my neck and doing some stretches and lengthen the back of my neck. I have an electric heating pad, but I never get to sit still while chasing kids around, and even if I am sitting, it doesn’t lay flush with my neck and it doesn’t really apply heat or weight the way I need it to. I previously ordered a little heating pad for one of our kids and I ended up stealing that, but it WREAKED of chemicals. Every time you heated it or used it, it smelled like a plastic plant was on fire and would even stain my clothes with the smell. I felt like there was no one way breathing or being in contact with it could be healthy. This one has no funky chemical smell, the fleece side feels so soft on my neck, it lays flush with my neck well so the heath is actually applied to it, it has a great weight to it so it actually stays in place where you want it. I broke my wrist about a month ago and after trying Ice, PT said heat. However, this microwave heating pad does both. 90 seconds and it stays warm for an hour or if im just sitting the cold pad is wonderful. I like the different material on each side so no matter what I am using it for it still is very comfortable

Good size for the back or neck area. Heat up and feel the warmth. Relaxes the tight muscles.
