Perfect fit 01’ Jeep Wrangler 4.0L
Great price! So much easier to just install a ew water-neck. You don’t have to razor off any old gaskets or deal with cleaning the hard water off the old one. Everything transferred over perfectly. Had zero issues. Looks good too! Comes with a gasket.

Fits 2001 Jeep WJ inline 6
Works on my 2001 Jeep WJ inline 6. Exact fit to OEM. Make sure you get a Felpro gasket instead of one that comes with it. Gasket does not feel sturdy and may leak in the future.

Great quality - awesome price
Well made - packed safely - no flaws and perfectly flat - the included gasket was fine - I installed with Permatex Gasket Shellac available on Amazon -

Ok
It fit ok but the gasket that came with it was crap and fell apart during installation. So just make sure you get a better quality gasket or you will have issues.

Perfect fit and replacement for 99 Jeep Cherokee XJ
I purchased this thermostat housing due to my old housing looking a bit worse for wear. Installation was straight forward and the supplied gasket provided a leak free replacement.Make sure the gasket surface is clean from old gasket material. In my case the old housing had a RTV gasket from the previous owner so a wire wheel was necessary. Remember to torque the bolts appropriately when installing and there should not be any issues with cracking / malfunctions.Thermostat torque specs : 13 ft lbs (156 in lbs)I replaced almost my entire cooling system when this was done. It fit but you should probably get the FelPro gasket.
I had to do a coolant system refurb on my Jeep WJ 4.0. The main problem was a worn out fan clutch but it was leaking around the water pump too.I did the "while you're in there's" too so water pump, fan clutch, thermostat, thermostat housing, heater hose pipe and Fel-Pro upgraded gaskets with Honda-Bond RTV Silicone sealant and a new serpentine belt too.Everything worked great but to get the old fan clutch off I had to cut the nut part that screws on to the water pump shaft. I used a new Milwaukee M18 Orbital Super Sawzall, my reward for doing this DIY job.I didn't want to buy the Sawzall but after trying two parts store rental fan clutch removal tools with absolutely zero success, I got medieval on it. 15 minutes and two saw blades later the repair could proceed. The lower fan shroud fasteners are another pain in the ass for that job but after that, no big deal. After carefully cleaning all of the gasket surfaces and applying a reasonable amount of Hondabond, everything reassembled easily, I put the old hoses back in place refilled the system and burped it.Now my engine temperature stays right at 195 I think and beside warming up, the needle never budges. Before it would overheat if I wasn't traveling at 45mph+ and I had to add coolant almost every time I drove. That was mostly the fan clutch causing that but everything I used to fix it is working perfectly so far.
