It's was Bluetooth adaptor until it came apart on the 3rd use!
I got this as an MP3 players I had gotten didn't come with BT. It is rechargeable and last about 10 hours or so. However, when I tried it with a set of BT headphone, the controls on the headphone didn't really change anything, so I had to do everything on the device. Honestly, it wanted something to just play music and it fills that role but it's not the flashiest or most up to date player, that's for sure.Edit: I changed the rating to 1 star as they don't have a "zero star" option. I had only been using it a couple of times with an MP3 player of mine to help me sleep at night. Yesterday, I went to take it out of the MP3 player to use in something else and the top part came out with the knurled part but the 3.5 mm plug stayed in the device and wires were showing. Not good! So yeah, if something comes apart on the 3rd time you use it, it's a badly made it & gets returned.

Turn older car auxiliary port into Bluetooth!
Plugged this device into my older car’s auxiliary port so that I can connect my iPad to the car stereo using Bluetooth instead of having to use an auxiliary cable plugged into the iPad. This way I can listen to podcasts, audiobooks or music on my iPad through the car speakers. It does help if you have a USB port close by the aux port so that you can leave the charging cable for this transmitter plugged in all the time. After initially pairing the iPad with the transmitter, when I get in the car for the first time each day, I just click the button on the transmitter 1 time and my iPad is then automatically connected. Every time I get back in the car during that same day the iPad is already connected and the transmitter is still powered up. This is an inexpensive solution to add some degree of Bluetooth audio to my older car (2010) that otherwise has none.

Audio lags behind video and battery life somewhat limited
I am using this to watch videos on an elliptical machine that has only an old school RCA style input. First the good - it does transmit the audio for those videos via Bluetooth to my earbuds.Now the bad - there is a noticeable (somewhere between 1/2 second and a full second) of lag between the video on screen and the audio reaching my earbuds. Also, a full charge lasts me less than 2 hours, meaning that for a 45 minute workout I pretty much have to recharge after each use, otherwise this "dies" mid workout on day 2.So does it do what it is designed to do? I'd say, "yes." But does it do it really well? For that question I'd have to answer it does its job reasonably well, but that it is far from perfect.I'll keep using it as the alternative is using wired earbuds, which I prefer to avoid.

Works perfect since day 1
It was a little tricky to figure out how to pair at first since there's no instructions included in English. Fortunately the seller sent instructions soon after I received the item. Instructions can also be found in the description when purchasing. Overall I highly recommend this item.Update: August 2024 and this is still working perfectly fine for me!
