I’ve never macramed before this so I don’t have any other cord to compare it to. Yes, the ends did fray pretty easily but it wasn’t excessive and I was still able to get my project done. As a macrame cord I say it fulfills it’s function. My biggest problem is the amount. My project needed 56 strings, each 16 ft long, necessitating 896 ft of cord. So I ordered 2 sizes, the 109 yards and 218 yards, which SHOULD yield 981 ft of cord. Nearly 100 ft more than I needed. I ended up just BARELY having enough to complete my project, resorting to me coming up with the final string by tying the two ends together that were too short to work on their own. I admit that not every string was exactly 16 ft, and that 109 and 218 were approximations, but I should NOT have come up as short as I did. It does the job but if you need accurate amounts I’d look elsewhere.EDIT 1: I have been contacted by the seller about the amount I have received, and they were kind enough to compensate for the amount I didn’t receive. Extremely grateful for reaching out, will update again once received.EDIT 2: Received my extra cord. Arrived on expected date and am extremely satisfied with the product.

I like cotton rope.

I make macrame frequently, and wanted to test out a thinner fiber cord. I gave this a try, but I don't prefer it as a knotting medium. The thickness of the cord is nice, but it's almost too soft and doesn't have the structure that I was hoping for it. It frays and unravels more readily than I would like. Definitely a better cord for smaller projects. It does have a very beautiful off-white color and appearance to it though.

Calidad

This was my first time making a basket with rope. I crochet. So I was unsure what to expect. I was pleased with the result, so I'll use it again. It was softer than I thought it should be but still stood up to the basket and it's use.

This cord has a lot of stretch to it. I'm new to macrame and have only used this and jute for a few projects, this has a lot more stretch to it which I didn't really recognize while crafting some plant hangers, and therefore didn't factor that into my final length. Now my plant is hanging 5+ inches lower haha! Just a tip!
