I purchased these for my 2015 Honda CB500X. The main reason I switched out the nearly new Honda pads was I intend to ride two up on a regular basis and I wanted the best possible braking ability. I read and watched numerous reviews stating the the factory brakes were... well .. meh . The Honda rear pads appear semi-metallic and these are not. My short term test makes me think the worn-in Honda pads are marginally better stoppers. I will ride the EBCs in awhile before I can say for sure. I had already replaced the fronts with EBC pads and they were impressively better so I was thinking these might be an improvement too. I'm not so sure. If you have original factory Honda rear pads in good condition I would say stick with them until worn out. For your 30 bucks I think with these, the IMPROVEMENT in braking, if any, is marginal at best. I'm not saying they're bad pads in any way. Just not a noticeable difference. More time with them could prove me wrong ... maybe. I hope so, but we'll see.

Easy to install. I replaced my rear rotor and these pads at the same time and made a huge difference in braking. Work great so far
