As described, fast shipping, used it for inline fuse for my car amplifier.

Tried 2 different 60 amp breakers. Both ran too hot to touch after an hour or so. (My motor draws a steady 50 amps.) This 60 amp fuse stayed much cooler after 2 1/2 hours of 50 amp draw. (warm to the touch yet much cooler than the breakers). Just have to carry extra fuse in case one blows.

These are just in case the fuse in my fuse holder blows. If that happens it will require a bunch of diagnostics but the car and the remaining wiring will be safe.I recommend always having extra fuses - just in case.

These fuses have gold-plated contact which look nice and should provide some corrosion resistance, depending on how thick the plating is. But the coverage seems to be good. They come nicely packaged in a little plastic box and then a small bubble envelope within.The 20-amp fuses that I received look exactly as pictured in the product description. Close examination with a jeweler’s loop reveals that the elements are stamped from a sheet of material and the ends are soldered into the metal cups inside the glass tube. The construction seems typical of other fuses I’ve seen and the quality seems pretty good. Even the fuse element appears to be gold plated.There's an old electronics joke about testing fuses. I decided not to test them, I presume they will blow at their rated value!
