I picked up this Optimum Nutrition Micronised Creatine Monohydrate and have been incredibly impressed with the quality. First off, this tub lasts for absolutely ages, making it fantastic value for money. You get a huge number of servings out of a single purchase, so it goes a very long way even with daily use. Because it is micronised, it mixes brilliantly. It completely dissolves into water or a protein shake with just a quick stir or shake, without leaving any of that horrible gritty residue at the bottom of the glass that you sometimes get with other brands. Furthermore, it has absolutely no taste whatsoever. It is genuinely unflavoured, meaning you can easily mix it into squash, juice, or your post-workout shake without it altering the flavour at all. I am very happily giving this a five-star rating. It is highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-quality, fuss-free creatine supplement!

I’m a bit scrawny and have not worked out that much during my life, but recently decided enough was enough and it’s time to go full speed into physical development. Any time I’ve had bouts of working out in the past, I always go for optimum supplements, so this time when I needed creatine to kick start my new routine, I didn’t even bother looking at alternatives, just got this one straight away. It’s wild how effective this is. I’m on the 4th day of dosing. I’ve increased doses each day to speed up saturation. By yesterday I could really feel it. This is powerful stuff! I am not just squeezing out an extra rep or two - I’m literally going for hours, and I can feel my muscles pulsing and expanding and repairing when I hit fatigue. I paired my second dose yesterday with a big, protein rich meal and I was working out till 2am lol I’ve taken creatine before (different brand) and never experienced such quick and physically noticeable effects. I feel like I’m on steroids lol As others have said it is actually tasteless, dissolves well and, based on the quality, represents fantastic value. Just make sure you stay extra hydrated if you haven’t taken before or are loading up on doses. The first couple days I didn’t drink enough and ended up with a nasty tension headache that went on for two days. Even after drinking a lot of water consistently, I notice my skin feels dry and I have an echo of an headache. My muscles ache as if they are yearning to be worked out when I’m idle and I am stretching a lot to ease the tension. This stuff really is a superfood that sucks all the water immediately into your muscles and repairs like crazy. Please never change optimum!!

I'm just past 40, rejoining the gym properly after a gap, and creatine monohydrate is one of the few supplements with solid evidence behind it. I mix a scoop into my ON Gold Standard protein shake daily on training days and rest days and it blends well. No clumping, no gritty residue, no taste whatsoever. The performance difference was noticeable within about a week, which is roughly in line with what the research suggests for creatine loading. I've tried other brands over the years that mixed poorly and tasted genuinely rancid, one in particular was borderline undrinkable. This is the opposite of that. It just works quietly in the background and doesn't draw attention to itself, which is exactly what a flavourless supplement should do. It seems to be a good product. But because it’s my first time taking creatine I am not so sure about what to say about it yet! I normally mix one scoop of it in my whey protein, most of the time after my trainings! I bought the unflavoured one, and just after I bought it, I tried it just with water because I thought it would be just cool, that it wouldn’t take of nothing but it does tho! I didn’t like it at all, it taste weird so I started mixing it with my whey protein after that ahahah :) If you want just to take creatine as it is, maybe you should buy a flavoured one instead :)

As someone who is serious about cardio, at the age of 55, the so called experts say its near impossible to gain muscle mass. I took this product every day for around six weeks, with supplements that I take all the time. Which are, Ensure NutriVigor and Biotec USA Whey Powder B which is Sugar free. Inside the Ensure tin there is a scoop which I use for a mix of three NutiVigor, One Whey Powder and the the Creatine which comes with its own 5gram scoop, into a shake bottle with 300ml of water, about 2hrs before workout. Before I bought the Creatine I did research, the Harvard School of Medicine has good information and just as they said, within three days I had put on about 3lbs in water retention which disappears after about ten days and is nothing to worry about. In Short, I was able to increase all my regular reps and definitely gained muscle mass, although being geared towards cardio it was not much. Therefore, I like this product and would recommend it. I have stopped taking it now to see if the gains are permanent. After ten days, they are still there so, you can use this product to increase fitness also. Cardio Vascular training is mostly about fighting with the mind and dealing with the dreaded fatigue. We know fatigue is coming, so there's no point fighting it, just let it happen. Its how we respond to it that matters : Can we ignore the discomfort and keep going until the target muscle is depleted or will the weak mind prevail? I find that training to music instead of a clock helps pull the mind away from the dread. And, if one does an exercise, burpees for example, until the mind begs you to stop, then do ten more, there are new zones that one can discover, its called heart and this product will certainly help a bit towards getting there. Lastly, the Harvard Medical School lists some health conditions which can be aggravated by taking Creatine so check it out before you use it. But it is as advertised and I will be giving it another go for sure.

This is great creatine. Pure monohydrate, nothing fancy, nothing pretending to be the next big thing. It mixes easily and disappears into whatever you put it in without any weird taste. I grabbed the bigger tub because it was cheaper than the smaller one, which still makes no sense to me, but I am not complaining. Strength and recovery both feel better since I started taking it consistently. Monohydrate is still the best option in my opinion. All the trendy versions cost more and do the same thing, so there is no point paying extra. If you want something reliable that actually works, this is the one.
