Concept2 Rower Seat Cushion - Fits Perfectly, Compatible with Hydrow, Concept2 & More - Rower Accessories & Seat Pad

Perfect fit for my Concept 2, stays in place and my buttocks aren’t sore. I row between 1:50 an 2:14 per 500m depending on time available and distance aimed for.

I use my Waterrower a lot, and the hard plastic seat does tell on the old 'sits bones' if you're doing any workout longer than 10 mins (and I sometimes row for over an hour). So I was looking for something to ease the pain (on the part of my body that contacts the seat at least!). Some of the other products on sale which look very cushion-like and therefore likely to change your rowing position (making it more elevated) and I figured all the engineering of these high-end machines would mean that such a change would be disruptive (I may be wrong of course, I'm not a professional rower). But then that's why I liked the idea of this product - this was thin enough to just sit on top of the seat without changing anything. And it does ease some of the discomfort from long sessions at the 'oars' - but the advantage of the thinness means it doesn't alleviate all of it. It's roughly the same size and shape as a Waterrower seat, even though it's specifically designed for a Concept2, and as I say, you literally just place it like a mat onto the seat before rowing. The non-slip works just fine to hold it in place, though it does mean it has to be stored separately if, like me, you store your machine vertically, as it's not stuck / banded to the seat. But that's not an issue - i just lay it on the machine in its storage position. Good value and fast delivery.

to my mind it is a bit thin. Given the purpose is to pad out the seat and they are likely to be purchased by people with bony backsides I would say they have underdone the padding. helps a bit but 15 mins is about the limit before the pain sets in. I might buy a second to try on top because i have to do something

Brings extra comfort

This seat cushion is thin but provides enough cushioning to make the rowing seat comfortable. The lower side is non slip so it stays on the seat without moving. It's also a perfect fit on the seat of a Concept2 rowing machine.

Could be a little more comfy but it does the job and definitely makes rowing easier

Brilliant

I spend 45 mins every day on the rower and my butt was in pain after each use. After going through different options, I decided to order this one. I was disappointed of how thin the pad is when I first received it. But I am so happy after using it for almost a month. Even though it feel very thin, I feel perfectly fine after my daily exercise and I think it may not work as well if the pad is too thick that it raises the level of the original seat. In addition, the bottom of the pad is rubbery so it does not slip with my moment. I highly recommend it for concept 2 users.

The cushion takes the edge off the firm seat of the rowing machine, providing the perfect amount of cushioning to allow more comfortable longer rowing sessions. The underside of the cushion stops it from slipping. I highly recommend it.
