Day 1 Review: (I’ve provided this review in an effort to be as helpful as possible to others during the Covid-19 pandemic).I’m an office worker, working from home during the Covid crisis, and I’ve been taking a short, medium and long term approach to working from home. For the first three months I adopted a “grin and bear it” stance – using a small desk in my child’s bedroom to work off a 12.3” screen Surface Pro 4 laptop/tablet (1.73lbs). My back was hurting due to poor posture, but it was only for a few months…I’ve now entered the medium term – my work are talking about phased returns to the office but, due to my individual circumstances, a proper return to the office is not in sight – it was time for some more substantial adjustments to my working from home conditions. I’ve switched the desk for an old table with a larger surface area, picked up a wireless keyboard and mouse, and was looking for something capable of raising the Surface Pro to eye level to improve comfort and posture, and forward to reduce eye strain… this holder appears to fulfil that brief perfectly.Out of the box it needed a bit of adjustment to match the weight of the Surface Pro, but once this was done and in place the holder seems to be more than capable. It’s well built, strong, and adjusts using a suite of three Allen keys (supplied), and there are a range of adjustments to help find the right angle for my height. The desk clamp did fit my table, but due to the table design (not the clamp) it was at the maximum adjustment end, and the clamp works perfectly well on a well-positioned window sill, bringing the tablet closer to my face and at a good height for an upright posture. The tablet fits well into the grip, and the grip has a slight curve, meaning the tablet’s camera is not obscured. I’ve also noticed that there is sufficient arm height to adjust the height and position of the tablet to something akin to a presentation lectern, giving me the opportunity to work in a standing position. Time will tell, but I don’t see the pivot points slipping any time soon. I’ve been using it for a few hours and it’s coped with the weight of the Surface Pro admirably. It even looks good with a neat and modern design!Added bonus, my son can fit his tablet into the grip and swivel the mount to allow for bed based tablet viewing – he’s happy for me to use his room during the day for the little bonuses such as this!All in all, an excellent product. If you are using a similar sized device I don’t think you will find better in terms of price, quality and function. Highly recommended.

This is a great piece of kit. I use it for holding my phone above the monitor on my rower so that I can do online classes on my phone and still view the metrics on my rower's display. Premium quality construction and the range of motion at the joints mean that you can position your device at pretty much any angle you like. The joints can all be tightened with an allen key (provided) if needed and I have not experienced any unwanted movement even when doing max effort intervals when there is a lot of vibration through the rower. Would highly recommend.

I have a 12.9 iPad and an Air I wanted to have both attached to the wall by my bed as I’m bed bound and use them all day every day to access all my online things like banking, Facebook, Netflix..etc nothing was available to hold the bigger pad, then I came across this handy dandy gadget! I order 3 after reading about the build quality and the way it clamps onto shelves and desktop or wherever!I was excited to finally having found a solution to a very annoying problem! Old holders have left big holes in my walls, the build quality meant they broke and needed to be replaced more than twice a year! Then this came up, the fact it held the bigger 12.9 iPad sold it to me right away! Finally I could use my big pad hands free, being disabled with limited use of my arms and hands meant I could not bear to hold them for long, with this all problems were solved the moment it was clamped to the shelf! I have the big pad clamped to the upper shelf and the small to the lower, and my husband was so impressed he bought one for his bed side. They took minuets to install and come with Allen key to tighten up the joins for perfect stability. The parts are metal not flimsy plastic! The clamps that hold the pads are strong and easy to use for getting your pad on and off... hardly and shake well typing. I’ve marked it down by one star as stability with the big pad is not so good, and we had to tighten everything really tight to get it to stop drooping, it’s fine now but don’t want to turn it much incase it goes loose again, but it’s holding up fine, been using for just over a week and I’m so happy with them. You get what you pay for, these even have after care and a parts department how long that will last hard to say, but talking from experience of many many wall and shelf brackets for iPads this has beat all hands down, they even look aesthetically pleasing! Don’t think about it just buy before they run out, as this will change your life if your looking for the ultimate holder for your pad, and there is not one position that can not be reach with a bit of a tweak!😃

This is a really solid tablet stand, very sturdy and easy to clamp onto a suitable surface. I found it likes to have 2 inches (5 cm) of solid wood to clamp onto securely. Mine works well attached to the hand-rest on my Cintique armchair. The hinges are quite stiff and hold the tablet in position well without slipping, and the ball-joint in the section that grasps the tablet allows it to be tilted in many positions. The whole thing is very adjustable and I've never had a problem moving the tablet into just the right position for viewing. If the hinges do get looser with use, a set of three Allen keys is provided to tighten them up again. The after-care from Amy the shop proprietor is excellent and she tells me that replacement parts are available for the stand.I'm delighted with my purchase which is really helping to keep the dreaded RSI at bay!
