Not a straightforward fit
Got this for my Dub 185 and it does not fit straight out of the box. You have to remove the ring on the nozzle end and replace it with the one on the short nozzle supplied with the blower. It then fits but makes interchanging between the two nozzles a pain.

Essential addition to the DUB182Z.
Makes using the DUB182Z outside so much easier and effective as it's much more directional than the shorter nozzle supplied as standard, which is great for blowing sawdust off carvings and the like. Should come as an included accessory really.

This does not attach to the Makita handheld short nozzle leaf blower
I purchased this along with the Makita short nosed blower thinking it would fit so I could stand up right and blow leaves as well as any closer jobs with the short hose, well they decided not to let you do that !!! Absolutely stupid that you cannot swap the short hose for the longer hose 😡

Excellent, as others have said it feels slightly more powerful and by far easier to use as no more crouching to blow the floor. Sellers sends quickly and well packaged and most importantly it's a genuine part.Very happy!

This should come with the blower as standered
Like always with Makita you have to buy extras to go with your original piece kit. If only they had supplied this nozzle with the blower instead of the short one it would have made more sense. But having now bought it I wouldn't go back to the original short one that came with it. You have more control than with the short one

Does a brilliant job, but it should come as an included part of the blower. Mikita kit is very good, but they charge the earth for it.
