I don't have to take the switch apart to use this right? Meaning this clips on top of the switch or it slides in?

Correct. This all clips on top of uses adhesive. Keep in mind that the switch will not be able to dock with these attached.

how do I remove the case if I want to change to another case?

Hi friend, it's easy to remove the case.

Product is great but I have a hard time finding a travel case that will fit the switch does anyone know of a good case ?

I got this one by innoAura - bit chunkier than some of the others out there but still very portable and comes with a couple screen protectors too (and a bunch of other little useful things.) OLED model fits like a glove with this case on. I like it! Switch OLED Accessories Bundle- innoAura 18 in 1 Switch Bundle with Switch Case, Switch Game Case, Switch OLED Screen Protector, Switch Stand, Switch Thumb Grips (Gray)

How to put the joystick caps on?

You need to paste the button sticker on the button.
