Really does help you quit
Ok so I've never written a review for any product I've bought off amazon but I have to for this product. I've tried a lot of things before to try to quit or at the very least cut down; patches, gum etc and they really didn't do much to stop the cravings for cigarettes. This on the other hand offers extremely quick nicotine effects which you can really feel working within a minute or two. I'm not saying this product is perfect because even though it is very effective it is also very strong if you are not used to it. When I first took a spray in my mouth it burned my throat and I felt quite sick, it is very unpleasant at first I won't deny it but the more you use it the nicer it becomes. It has a fresh minty taste once you become accustomed to it. A good tip is to spray underneath your tongue so you get slowly accustomed to it. The other notable side effect I get from time to time is hiccups! It is very annoying at times but it doesn't last long. Do NOT spray more than once in your mouth at a time (You will regret it I promise you,) I'm writing a review for this because after 5 years of regular smoking I have actually gone one month without smoking a cigarette which for me is a bloody miracle lol. I used this spray on a regular basis to help cut down but within a few weeks I didn't even feel the need to smoke. There is another point to this review. Although I have quit smoking I find myself addicted to this spray instead. I'm sure its not the same case for all people who use this spray but I find myself having this product as a replacement for cigs now and I am dependent on this. I think it will be very hard to quit this product but the way I see it I'd rather be hooked on this spray which has no harmful effects to your health rather than cigs which are. Its MUCH cheaper in the long run as well. Always buy this product on here rather than shops because its much cheaper. I can buy a two pack here for £20 while it cost me £18.99 for a pack of one in sainsbury's! Overall if you really are looking to cut down or quit then this product is one of the best things around and I would definitely recommend it though it won't be to everyone's taste as it is very strong stuff but once you get used to it, it is amazing!

Successful item, if half sprayed
4 stars - works well to get a niccy hit but that first one burns and is awful, if used as recommended. The cool mint is ok at first, not great in middle and then better at end (like labour). I couldn’t get the app to work (apple issue?). Overall worth it as tried patches and don’t like how itchy they are and gum is minging. Managed to quit vaping! - had 1 x Elux 10mg liquids per 2 days. Never out of my mouth TBH and finding it quite easy. Been 2 weeks - test will be a night out…. Top tip, only half spray between cheek and gum, wait at least 30 secs before swallowing. Still not great but better than sprayed into back throat (as with most things IYKUK).

Works but please follow the instructions
The most important thing is that this product works. The other important thing to remember is to use it as per the instructions and as a means to stop smoking rather than another habit for the rest of your life. It is very easy to keep spraying more and more each day for months , if not years, on end which I think many people do. I am not preaching or judging here because I have been guilty myself to a degree. If you wait until you really are craving a cigarette and spray then I promise that craving will go away, honestly. If you use (as with smoking) just out of habit then you will find yourself hooked on the spray- better than hooked on cigarettes but not ideal. The instructions clearly state not to use more than 2 sprays twice every hour (less if you can obviously) and gradually stop using altogether. It is also worth knowing the product tastes awful, makes you thirsty and if used incorrectly gives terrible hiccups. I find if you spray under the tongue, keep your mouth open and don’t swallow for a few seconds (spit the excess into a tissue) then you will be fine. Easy to do this at home but looks odd in public but I find a trip to the ladies for a discreet spray if I’m having a night out is the answer. Product seems pricey but for the amount of time it lasts is much much cheaper (and healthier) than cigarettes. Highly recommend but can’t stress enough - ignore the instructions at your peril because you don’t want to be at the mercy of another master after managing to kick the smoking habit!

Highly addictive
I came here to warn others about how addictive this product is and then saw that several other reviewers have beat me to it. There has been a whisper of it on the internet for some years but now fortunately it's becoming louder. Avoid this one at all costs. Yes it's effective, yes it's convenient - but it's too convenient. We live in a world where most of the time you can't always smoke and to do so might take some effort - go outside, put a coat on, find somewhere to smoke etc; Plus smoking a cigarette takes a few minutes. This stuff takes you a mere couple of seconds to use. I had one in my hand for nearly 6 years. I slept holding it. Ok so for some people, they can use it for a limited time only and then come off it - but a LOT of people can't. My nicotine consumption went through the roof and I was using up one spray over 2 days. Twice in 6 years I actually had to start smoking again to wean myself off of this stuff and still I craved the spray. The amount of nicotine I was using and the cost was way, way more than smoking. This was the worst addiction I've ever had and yes I lied about how much I was using and what it cost. My family became very aware that if I was without spray at any time I was going to be completely impossible to live with. They would check how much I had left and encourage me to go get more before I ran out, so bad would be the mood swings, the crying, anxiety, temper. Don't do it. Use something that isn't too convenient, where the nicotine takes a while to kick in, where it takes a while to get the buzz you seek - and very importantly, you can cut down your use progressively. With most NRT products it is possible to wean yourself off by decreasing use; You can bite gum in half, cut lozenges, cut some patches etc. This spray is going to deliver the same amount of nicotine each time and you are going to have to use pure willpower to not take another spray soon after. I got off it by using lozenges, as another reviewer has said. It was an interesting few days where I felt absolutely horrendous but I did it this time and I'm not going back. A lozenge is in your mouth for some time which is a comfort and you feel like you have more control of how much you use. I have set myself a limit of one per hour and have come to a point where I can go a couple of hours without feeling like I need one. My constant 24/7 panic is starting to subside. My nicotine usage was extremely high and this is going to take some time but I feel like I'm back in control. I can use lozenges with a lower dosage and bite or cut them in half as time goes on. Getting off them is completely doable. It takes me a few seconds to decide whether or not I really need one/want one and in that time I could've sprayed Quickmist in my mouth twice already. By the grace of God I've escaped this one at last! If you're thinking about quitting with this please choose something else.
