Ecozone Coffee Machine Cleaner and Descaler 500 ml - 5 Applications per bottle

It cleans my coffee machine superbly, does not leave the usual jeez that's bleach smell, so easy to use, good for kettles as well. This is really good stuff and lasts a long time

This is the only product that even came close to descaling my Breville One Cup. I was sceptical at first because I've used several different much more expensive brand products which did absolutely nothing, but after reading the reviews here I decided to give it a try (I only ordered it because I needed something around the price of this to bring another order up to £20 to qualify for free postage, so I wasn't too fussed if it didn't work). I put about a third of the bottle into the empty kettle and sloshed it around a bit then filled it up with water and let it sit for a couple of minutes. As soon as I switched it on I noticed a huge difference. The noises it made were a little scary, but that might just have been the now loose limescale being pumped through the system. The very first cup boiled in about 20 seconds, down from the 45+ seconds I had become accustomed to. I then continued until the tank was empty, added another third of the bottle, filled up the tank again and left it overnight. This morning I dispensed all the liquid, rinsed the tank out and repeated this a couple of times just the fully expunge the descaler. For the first time in 8 years I now have a One Cup dispenser that boils in around 20 seconds and, perhaps most importantly, doesn't leave bits of limescale in the bottom of my mug. It's not perfect though. I can still hear large chunks of limescale sloshing around in the kettle, which obviously haven't been broken down (and probably never will) and I'm sure it could still boil a little faster, but my One Cup was in a disastrous state before. I was tempted to throw it away and buy another after all my previous attempts at descaling it had failed - it was that bad! But now it's almost as good as new. I'll certainly be buying more of this and descaling more regularly. If you live in a hard water area and have a hot water dispenser such as the Breville One Cup then you really need to either use a water filter of descale it every couple of months, as they're much harder to descale than regular kettles, especially if you leave it too late like I did.

So I bought this to Descale my dolce gusto lumio pod machine, As the orange light was flashing after a few months of use which is a built-in feature that will automatically happen after the machine has made so many coffees, Not because it detects limescale, Before purchase I put in questions if anyone has used it in the Dolce gusto pods machines and how they did it, Dolce gusto make their own descaling liquid But it’s a lot more expensive and wasn’t available, So I went with this one after seeing good reviews, You can get the orange light to stop flashing by going through the descaling program on Your machine, there is a short two minute video on YouTube to show you how to do it, I went through the program on my machine using only water as my descaler had not arrived yet and it successfully turned the orange light back to green, As I said this is an automatic feature and not true indication that your machine needs descaling, As this bottle has five applications 100ml a time, I re descaled my Coffee machine by running through their descaling program and I added 100mls plus a few cups of water to my kettle and boiled it up, When I discarded the water from the kettle the limescale was still clearly there, I put another 100mls in the kettle plus few cups of water (if u over fill kettle it bubbles over and leaks when boiled) I left the mixture in the kettle overnight but kept looking to see if it was working and each time I did the Huge lumps around sides of kettle were Getting less and less and in the morning my kettle look brand-new! There was no nasty smells so product is really natural which I like, but it does need to sit overnight as it states on the back of the instructions to work and it did perfectly so running it through Couple of minutes in your coffee pod machine is not going to do the trick! Unless of course your coffee machine can keep the mixture inside overnight which mine can’t. so the product Is great And works exactly how it says it does By soaking overnight, People that think it’s worked on there dolce gusto machines Because the orange light is no longer flashing Are mistaken Because as I stated I got rid of the orange light by going through the descaling program with plain water! I’m going to have to buy the Dolce gusto descaling liquid as it’s strong enough to descale in minutes by running through your machine and Doesn’t need to sit overnight

This is a very good product, does exactly what it says ,

use in my nespresso latisima its a little more hassle than genuine nespresso descale liquid but this works better, i used genuine nespresso descale liquid once and it was total disgrace, did not clear the limescale and made my coffee taste bad for ages even tho i rinsed it through at least 10 times do descaled it with this and it got rid of the vile chemical taste, also found that pure concentrated lemon juice works better than any of the chemical descale liquids if left inside the machine for a few hours to soak in the pipes and after rinse loads of scale had come out and no bad tastes at all

Good and effective. Clear instructions. Cleaned my coffee machine with ease.
