Bought for my teenager to use on their face, after medication had cleared their acne, but left red areas where the spots had once been. This has definitely helped to fade the red spot marks left behind. I was concerned that using an oil might cause the pores to block and more spots to appear but this hasn't happened, my teen's face has remained clear and now the skin looks as smooth as it feels, whereas before it felt smooth but still had the appearance of spots. The oil is applied nightly, (uses a decent face-quality SPF for daytime). We're on the second bottle now and my teen is happy to continue using it.

Good product at amazing price. Didn't buy before because of negative comments about the smell. Since using, note it's 100% rose hip oil, unadulterated and it smells like a good quality oil so not bad just most like good quality furniture oil and definitely better than neat jojoba oil. I don't find it unpleasant but it doesn't smell like the usual stuff you put on your face because it hasn't got the usual additives. Find it's doing a better job than the Byoma oil as it appears to be better absorbed by my skin as is designed to do a slightly different job. Also note, my skin feels better, is more moisturised and looks improved. One other point, is that it is a dark golden colour but this doesn't affect skin tone. NB: This oil is strong so please follow the directions and use once a day. If you need an oil twice a day, buy another for hydration as this one may make your skin a little sensitive with over use.

You want Rose Hip if you want to treat any redness. It is the active ingredient for addressing redness in many premium brands, so buying the raw ingredient can be a huge cost benefit. Rose Hip isn't expensive, but you want a trusted source, The Ordinary ticks this box for reassurance. When to use: Final step of your routine - after moisturiser. And no, you can't apply make up on top. This one from The Ordinary is quite heavy and only really suited to night time routine, unless you work from home perhaps. It's not 'expensive' but I do think the price could be lower, hence 4 star.

Love this oil it does lasts a good while even though i use it every day for my face and neck. It's very good value for the money.

Super consistency, colour and texture great. Slightly glow, which should help to feel relaxed the skin for me. Fragrance free which’s working very well for the most. Absorption five stars as well. It’s left the skin very moisturised for all day long, no hesitation to use and buy every time for me

A regular repurchase , 100% rosehip oil - great for the skin. Can’t go wrong with the Ordinary - always value for money

Feels a good quality oil. the colour and scent is the same as a more expensive product I’ve used. Having read other reviews I’ve also been using it on my feet (I already used on my hands) definitely makes the soles /heels smoother just remember to let the oil soak in. Only downside is the bottle dropper drops a larger quantity of oil than needed.

I’ve been buying this Rosehip Oil from Sephora for over five years, so I was thrilled to see that The Ordinary is now officially available on Amazon. This is an easy 5/5 product for me. I use it every morning, and on the rare days if I skip it, my skin just doesn’t look or feel the same. It gives my face a healthy, natural glow without feeling greasy or heavy. It absorbs well and leaves my skin looking hydrated and refreshed. There is a very mild natural oil scent, but it’s subtle and has never bothered me. I’ve received countless compliments on my skin over the years, and if people ask what my secret is, this is genuinely one of the biggest reasons. I couldn’t recommend it more.

amazing quality and amount for the price! my skin is so picky and i can't use traditional moisturizers so this is a great alternative. no real scent which is great, absorbs quickly, no irritation of my eczema or acne
