The quality justified the extra cost (& even then it's not much more than the Ch***se rubbish here so a bargain!). This upright sweeper is so good, such excellent quality and does a perfect sweep up! I rarely use the vacuum on my wood floors now, this does the job in a fraction of the time it takes to get the vacuum out. What I love about this is that there the dustpan goes flat to the floor i.e. it's completely flat to the floor so no gap where rubbish/dust misses the pan), every scrap of dust & general muck actually goes IN the dustpan, unlike others where the dustpan doesn't sit flat and your rubbish goes underneath the dustpan, which kind of defeats the object of using an upright dustpan and brush!! What I love about this is the dust guard, where you draw your brush over it to get the dust off and then into the pan. It's so far above the rest that I now have 3! One in the kitchen, one in my art room/sewing room/study and the 3rd for our French home. Love this, there is no better one on the market. Buy!

I'm in my 40s with a toddler, my back is under constant pressure, so wanted this to save a bit of bending in my life. To that end this product does the job exactly as required. I've owned a few OXO products, and all have been great quality, and this is no different, the brush and pan are very effective. I've had cheap dustpan sets, where the lip of the pan just blocks smaller bits going in, not with this. Really does work well, but there is one flaw... There's a bracket that allows you to click together the two products for storage, the pan tills up as well and it makes it great for slotting into a cupboard. But this bracket is crazy tight, and it hasn't eased up with use. At first it didn't bother me because as said, I thought it was because it was new, but had this a while now and it's still just as bad., As a result it's become really annoying, and sometimes you catch your knuckles because you need to exert so much force, when it does unlick suddenly, your hand catches, giving an ouch! moment. I've got better at avoiding this now, but I shouldn't need to worry about it. For us it's just annoying, but I can see for some that have weakness for whatever reason, be it age, or aliment, this is going to be a real issue. That is why I give this 3 stars, it sounds minor, but for something we use regularly to mop up toddler mess, it just becomes exceptionally annoying to have to pry apart these two things, and putting them back together also requires more strength than it should. It's a great product let down by a silly flaw.

I absolutely love OXO equipment, it’s slightly more expensive than some others but the quality of their products far exceeds anything else on the market in my opinion. The brush & pan set is no exception well made, solid, sturdy and excellent quality. Well done OXO.

Purchased this product to clean up crumbs on my table and counter top working areas. I wanted something which could not be used to clean other areas, had reasonably soft bristles as well as being compact and light. The small pan is most effective, the rubber seal works well in backing up or sliding under surfaces and fabric. This product covers most of these points whilst being easy to use for arthritic hands and small enough to keep in a drawer or to hand. However, after only a couple of uses I found the bristles became slightly distorted but with careful handling straightened after being in the pan. The brush clicks back into the pan really well. Only time will tell how long the bristles last but so far so good. I would recommend.

Such a practical and space saving design for this brilliant little dustpan and brush! Really useful for those quick tidy-ups in small spaces. Particularly useful in a camper van!

Quality materials used. Its functionality does what it’s intended to do and clean sweep everything away. Very good value for the money paid. It would have been better if you had different colours to pick from, but it’s not a deal breaker.

OXO Good Grip Dust Pan Set Hi Everyone: It’s usually hard to find nice and interesting things to say about a dust pan and brush combination, but in this case it is surprisingly easy. Both these OXO pieces ( brush and pan ) have been engineered perfectly for the task intended. The brush is curved very so slightly to a perfect angle that is super comfortable when using, and the dust pan has an orange lip that goes from one side to the other and it is very soft. Being this soft this orange strip lays down perfectly onto any surfaces, allowing the dirt to be swept into the pan with precision and ease. Both pieces are a sand / soft grey color that look beautiful with the orange and black coordinates. The inside area of the pan has a gloss sand / grey surface, and is flat coloured sand / grey on the outside. The brush sand / grey colour is all glossy both sides. It is absolutely just the perfect size when compared to all the other dust pans I have ever owned and held in my hands. The OXO people did it 100% perfectly on this item as usual. The dust pan is about 12.5 inches long and 8.25 inches wide, and the dust pan handle is 1.75 inches wide and 3.5 inches long and very easy to grip securely. The pan will sit flatly on the floor on its very own ( you don’t have to hang onto it ) and you can sweep the dirt into the pan using just one hand. The brush is 11.25 inches long and the broom part of the brush is 6 inches wide with the handle being 1.35 wide and 3.5 inches long and is flat and easy to secure firmly. When not in use the brush locks into the handle of the pan and both can be stored in a hanging position on a wall etc, via the large holes in both the handle and the brush. My last dust pan combo was a well known brand name that I paid about seven dollars for on sale, and It never worked correctly or efficiently and looked horrible. So needles to say that this was a major double increase on the spending for this item. I’m very pleased to report that I am super happy that I made the decision and chose this item over another “ useless ” Rubbermaid Dust Pan Combination. It’s so beautiful looking, I now display it openly in my laundry room. It is indeed A few dollars more but I recommend this product 100% to everyone that uses a broom to clean their floors. It will sweep you off your feet instantly. Another 10 out of 10 product for the OXO Corporation . I hope my review was helpful.

Was suprised by how small this items is, it felt and looked like it belonged in my Daughters doll house, play house, i mean its the size of my palm so not ideal for a normal household.
