Excellent quality washable wrist strap, very secure quick-release, good price.
I needed a new wrist strap for my Nikon J2 compact camera, which is quite heavy when fitted with a telephoto zooms lens. Most of the straps I looked at were too long (they were meant for over-the-shoulder use) but this one is the perfect size for the wrist. I was also very worried about the quick release, quick suggested “easy” – could this mean it could release unexpectedly and let my camera drop? But no, this quick release is really well designed. It is practically impossible to release it accidentally. It is quick but it needs carefully applied pressure at the right points to release it. So my expensive Nikon camera is safe! And it’s very easy to remove the strap when needed. Secondly the strap that goes around the wrist is excellent. It can be adjusted to gently tighten around the wrist and it can be washed. If it gets wrinkled, the instructions say just leave it the sun and they will disappear. And the small loops that go through the camera fixings are just perfect. Very satisfied and feel confident that my camera is safe.

Good wrist strap for Olympus E-M5
I've never been very happy with the stock Olympus strap on my E-M5; it feels overkill having such a small camera flapping around on my neck as it just bounces around. I bought a Black Rapid Metro to carry the camera on my shoulder and although it's very comfortable it's quite bulky and it doesn't see much use. Seeking something less bulky I bought the Op/Tech Cam Strap QD and it's hardly left the camera since. The E-M5 is light enough to carry in my hand and this strap is comfortable and gives me some security when using it. The only downside is that if I use the E-M5 with the portrait batter grip, then this strap isn't quite long enough to use in portrait mode, so I'm deducting one star for that. Overall though I'm very happy with it, and if that continues to bother me I can always buy another of the 3/8" quick connectors and stick that on the battery grip, and swap the wrist strap to the battery grip when required.

A well constructed and comfortable strap for your compact camera
I needed a comfortable and reasonably priced yet hard wearing replacement strap for my Canon Powershot Camera. This is it! I'm very pleased with it indeed! After several months of use in a variety of conditions (I enjoy hill walking) it's as good today as when I purchased it. It's easy to slip over the wrist making the camera feel secure whilst in use. The strap material has some give in it which allows unhindered adjustment of the camera settings without the necessity of loosening the strap. I did initially have some reservations about the security of the detachable clasp, but these were soon dispelled as it's of a very good quality and robust construction. I've seen this type of strap advertised in red, so there is also a choice of colour if you don't really fancy black.

Nice idea and exactly what I wanted, but neoprene strap looks tatty after short period of time
Purchased this as when moving to a mirrorless camera I wanted to take advantage of the smaller, lighter camera and not have it round my neck. It is lightweight and comfortable, with the neoprene being soft so it isn't uncomfortable if it stretches, pulls or twists in your hand. Also the strap is detachable which is handy if you don't want it dangling around. I was initially concerned about the strength, but have tested it and it copes well with my panasonic gx1 and 14-140mm lens at approx 800g - I have 'dropped' it (in a safe environment!) with the strap attached and - while being a bit bouncy - I don't think that it will break. However the neoprene has its drawbacks; - after just one week of heavy use the neoprene is fraying and looking tatty; I don't doubt it's strength or durability but it doesn't look as smart as it did - in the warm weather, the strap makes your wrist a bit sweaty and uncomfortable because the neoprene is fairly warm and waterproof Overall pleased with it, it does its job, but it isn't perfect

Excellent
Just fitted this to my Canon EOS M and it's exactly what I was looking for to replace the awkward Canon neck strap. It's neoprene, so is really comfortable and is easily detached from the camera body; you attach a small clip to the neck strap point and then clip it to the wrist strap. This way, you can easily remove virtually all of the strap with just a simple 'click'. To attach this to the EOS M, you have to remove one of the cleverly designed but stupidly proprietry Canon strap lugs from the neck strap and then just thread this through. Not sure how long it will be before the neoprene gets tatty but if it's made to the usual OP/TECH standard, it should last a long time...I have an OP/TECH neck strap for my 5D and it's very well made. Regardless, at this price you could just buy a new one if it gets too tatty looking.

Great product and good value
Fantastic item and great value for money. This is a really good product and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a comfortable wrist strap. I hate neck straps that come with cameras because they're annoying and make you look like a tourist! I bought this as a safety mechanism when I'm using my Canon G12 and it works. It's not going to work for long if you let the camera hang from the strap all the time, swing it about or abuse the strap. People who think the strap or quick release mech are fragile obviously do! If you use it for what I need it for it's perfect. I slip it on whenever I use the camera and it has enough length to do all the things you need to do on the camera and it's not too long to be in the way. It gives me the confidence that I'm not going to drop the camera or lose it overboard or off a cliff. Not that I take many pictures whilst leaning over a cliff but you get the idea I hope. Also the quick release works on mine, but then again I don't think I would ever use a quick release. Call me a luddite, but I'd just take the strap off and leave it attached to the camera!

Very impressive hand strap. The "Made in USA" quality shows! Using it for my Ricoh GR III and the strap string runs smoothly through the opening in Ricoh GR III. After gliding the strap through my hand, the camera grip is quite snug, which is good because it allows holding the camera steadily. Highly recommended.
