Bought for my daughter hence the colour. Pleased it’s a 1000w, cooked a batch in about two mins. Easy to clean and great results. Nice touch in the instruction manual is various recipes. Only downside is the lights are not that bright but can be worked around.

Used mine for the first time today and delighted with the results.. very simple to used and clean.. I sprayed it with a butter flavoured spray and added my batter.. the waffles cooked in a few minutes and were very easy to remove.. 🧑‍🍳 my recipe: 1 cup of plain flour 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 cup olive oil 1cup of milk 1 medium egg 2 tbsp sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract Mix wet ingredients first and add dry to them.. this recipe made 3 large waffles 🧑‍🍳

I did a LOT of research to find a suitable waffle maker, having just come back from a trip to Norway and wanting to extend the holiday. Reader, let me save you the bother and advise you that a lot of the ones recommended in those 'top 10' or 'best buy' lists have been discontinued. So I decided to take the plunge with this relatively cheap one. It arrived about an hour ago, and I couldn't resist testing it straight away. I'm really pleased with the result and the waffle was cooked well through. Could have added a bit more mix, but didn't want to overfill on my first attempt. Now, I did use a waffle mix (where you just add water and melted butter) so I don't know how it will fare with my own homemade batter. But so far, so good. One thing - I didn't notice the red 'ready' light turn off, so I waited for about 7 timed minutes before I used. Then timed again 5 mins for cooking rather than rely on the light. Seemed to be the right time tho. Going to be making lots of vafler this Easter weekend :-)

I received this today and have made 8 stunningly delicious Waffles, it was so easy to clean just a wipe with a clean damp cloth. I'm am on keto diet and I used this fantastic recipe, I poured the mix into the waffle maker slowly and just let it tip the edges, I timed it using a timer for 5mins & 30 seconds and they were absolutely perfect!! See below 4 Tbsps (56g) Butter, Melted 2 eggs ⅓ Cup (80mL) Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk 1 Teaspoon (4g) Pure Vanilla Extract ¾ Cup (90g) Blanched Almond Flour 2 Tbsps (28g) Granulated Erythritol ½ Teaspoon (2g) Baking Powder Pinch of Salt But it, it's fab :)

I am so impressed with this. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Absolutely no sticking and perfectly evenly cooks my waffles. Just make sure you don't fill it up to the top - as others have said, pour in just enough batter to cover the sticky up bits or it'll overflow. Trial and error really. Don't let that put you off though, it's part of the fun and any mess literally just wiped off with a cloth (even on the outside). Waffles are roughly the size of a teaplate and about 1-1.5cm deep which is plenty. If you're looking for a waffle maker, look no more - just hit add to basket. I'm actually so impressed with it!

Item has broken within a month of purchase. It trips all power in my property, and there is no way to rectify it. Would not recommend this product.

I’m doing keto (again) and previously everyone else seemed to make keto waffles. This time I decided I would invest, but not too much in case it didn’t work. Thanks to another reviewer here I bought this, used their recipe this morning (with a couple of tweaks) and …… yummy success 😁 I always bake with corn oil (not keto) so I will investigate keto-friendly, tasteless oil and I reduced sugar and time. I switched on for 5 mins then, as per her instructions, pour slowly until liquid touches edge then close lid (rest on top, don’t push down) and leave. The mix made three waffles for me but she used almond flour instead of ground almonds 🤔 anyway, I’m delighted and even hubby liked the taste. I’ll be adding berry compote on top next time.

I really wanted to like this waffle maker as I loved the idea of having one that specifically makes heart-shapped waffles (nostalgia!). It is easy to use and, from my experience, non-stick. However, the front part of the waffles (closest to the handle) were always much thicker, as if cooked unevenly, and the middle was usually raw. I could combat the latter by cooking the waffles longer but then they would have dark brown marks and the middle would still be light and soggy. This is cheap, but I decided to opt for one that is a little more expensive, but cooks the waffles more evenly, especially since my child is very young and I want to make sure everything is fully cooked through while still tasting great!
