Does the safety net have much give in it or does it fit fairly tightly? Do you think it needs the full 2.5m safety clearance all round?

IT is a fairly tight fut. we do not hace 2.5 meters al round. Hace weight it down to keep it steady as our child enjoys being quite boisterous in it and flinging herself around. Happy with our purchase!

Would a 9 year old be able to play on this please

I wouldn't buy one for a 9 year as it would be too small really but if they came round to play I'd let them go on it by themselves for a while! My tall 3 and 4 year old go on it together without any issues but they wouldn't be able to bounce on their bum and back up etc at the same time. Hope that helps.

I know the overall size is 4.5ft but what size is that actual bounce space?

It is more or less the whole of the area . It can accommodate 2 toddlers but as they get older just one bouncing . Great starter trampoline
