Bought this as a gift and it was very well received, its great fun scratching off the countries and a nice way to keep track of and remember countries you have visited; although you may find you have the sudden urge to visit Russia or Antarctica.Its nicely packaged making it a nice gift, this smaller version is nice as it doesnt get in the way, although it can be difficult to scratch off smaller countries.

I have a luckies world map which is poster size and I also bought a travel luckies of Europe as a present. Both are excellent. Nice packaging, great fun, look nice on the wall. I went to a craft shop and got some of those sliders for top and bottom to hang it with. Just got to go to the rest of the world now so I can do more scratching!!

ok, so i haven't quite used it as the title suggests, 'plan and mark your journey as you go' but proved popular with my 12-year old daughter who said it was a really lovely, special present (and they are not the usual type of words to come from her mouth...) we have travelled across over a third of europe in the last few years and it's a great way for her to document the countries she has visited. of course, after the initial scraping there's not alot to do really. we have put it in a frame for protection as well as display (as there was much disappointment when she accidently scratched through Russia, so that's next on our list apparently...) and now wait for her looming school trip to italy to scratch off another country. she's desperate to do it now, but she hasn't been yet so i won't allow:) a really lovely item that could, if cared for, really last a lifetime.

This was a smaller version as the main map is huge but I wanted something we could easily frame once scratched our destinations on it. My husband loved the idea and looking forward to using it. A quirky gift which will be treasured no doubt as memories of our travels.

The item itself is great. However the gold box it comes in is smashed on the top. It was meant to be a present but I’ve had to swap it for the unused one I already have which is much bigger, as didn’t want to give a gift that’s faulty as it will be more than likely kept curled up in its box.

This was an amazing gift! My girlfriend loved it and I am rather jealous of it myself.The map size is just slightly bigger and an A4 Piece of paper and scratches off very easily and clean, it has a zoom in of Europe on it so that you are not accidently scratching off Germany when you aim for Belgium.I would buy this product again very easily as it makes a great gift especially for those who love to travel.5* - Would really recommend this product to anyway

This is a great idea and a great way for someone of any age, to mark off where in the world they have been! It is travel sized so you could take it with you, but its also perfect for putting up on the wall without taking up too much room. Comes in a decorated sturdy cardboard tube to keep the map protected. Would recommend to any enthusuatic traveller who wants a fun way to show how much of the world they have explored.

I was initially looking to buy something similar to this map on Etsy and the price was around £29. By chance I thought I'd check Amazon first and seen this one for nearly a third of the price. I bought this for a newly wed couple who love travelling and they where over the moon. Such a thoughtful gift at a great price!
