Finally found a dough recipe that tastes good and plays nice. As I've learned if you don't have this dialed in, then you might have issues with whatever pizza peel you end up using. With a little flour dusted on the work table, I stretched my dough to the correct size, lifted up and added some Semolina flour which acts like little ball bearings under the dough. Before I put toppings on I quickly slide the pizza peel under the dough. If it doesn't slide properly, add more semolina flour (but not too much) and test again. I did this for each pizza I made and I had no problems picking up the pizza from the work table and launching it into the pizza oven. One tip I've discovered is when picking up the uncooked pizza and also launching it is to just go for it. Don't hesitate, falter, go slow etc.... You have to just go for it. The pizza transfers way easier that way. Overall great pizza peel.

Easy to assemble, good pizza peel, works much better than pizza peels without holes in them. Reasonably priced.

We like and use it but it doesn't slide as easy with the holes. We will be trying a solid one so we can put more flour under the pie.

I bought the black peel and really like the look of it.it's sturdy and well machined with a nice bevel that sits tight to the counter.i haven't used it yet but don't see any problem with sliding pizzas right up on this peel.nice perforations to keep the semilina flour from getting trapped on the bottom of the pizza.i'm looking forward to using it!

Bought this to use with my 12” Ooni oven and it works flawlessly. Launched first pizza successfully on first try and haven’t missed once. This product really exceeded my expectations and has given me the confidence to enjoy making awesome pizza at home.

This pizza peel is constructed of sturdy aluminum, as advertised. It looks and feels like a high quality product. For launching uncooked dough, however, the way the holes are shaped act to grab the dough rather than to facilitate a smooth transfer to the pizza oven. No matter what I try, the dough gets caught in the little holes. I think that a peel with longer, rectangular holes From front to back would work better to release the dough cleanly. I bought this as a one paddle solution, and so it’s not working out for it’s intended purpose.

This peel is the perfect size for my Solo Stove Pi Oven. Easy assembly and easy to clean. Recommended.

The plate or shovel end is not quite big enough for pizzas, a large fresh one would overhang and spill toppings.The handle is both too long and a separate piece. The length made it too long to fit in my oven.A nice idea but not for me. If the pizza part were bigger, with built in shorter handle I would buy this again and keep it but returned this one. Quality seems very good but it wasn't for us. Thanks for reading.

This doesn't make it any easier to slide the pizza off the peel. You can get something that does the same job for much, much cheaper.
