Steenbergs Nasi Goreng Spice Mix Standard Jar 57g

I was delighted to find this on Amazon. This is a lovely blend of spices, but warning, it is quite warm - unless you like that sort of thing - which I do.I use this not only for fried rice, but to coat chicken, put in casseroles and more.Will be ordering more - wonderful.

£2.80 for 57g of what is basically just chilli powder. Add to that they charge £3.99 to post the package. I don't think whoever blended this has ever tasted Nasi Goreng. It's just hot and tasteless. I bought it because I've just come back from Bali where I had lots of nasi and mae gorang meals. Complete waste of money.

Tastes terrific. Watch out for the real chilli kick, you won't need a lot! Did seem to get moisture causing clumping over a month or so despite lid being tightly sealed. Love that it's natural.

Perhaps a little too chill hot than it needs to be. Not really the Nasi Goreng taste I recall from Indonesia or Netherlands. Needs a little more fullness and less burn.

This is a disgusting product . I’m all for supporting local produce but not this rubbish. There is only one ingredient - chilli , too much and nothing else . I’ll stick to conimex . Made in the Netherlands , this is the only authentic mix I’d ever use again

Too much chilli for our taste. Not like the Nasi Goreng in Hong Kong which was not as hot but tastier
