I don’t know the actual thickness but it is pretty heavy and very well made

There are no holes drilled in the back of this cabinet and given the weight capacity of this unit, I would advise against mounting on the wall. The metal construction is not a very thick gauge as it doesn't have to be for floor mounting so the attaching hardware that you would use may pull through the metal.
