Dodo Juice Buff Daddy Das 6 Orbital Machine Polisher

Fast delivery and a great price.After a little research I found that the DA/ orbital would be better for an amateur like myself over a rotary as theres a reduced likelihood of buying the paint. I've used it with Meguiars Ultimate Compound and a fine 3M cutting compound and after sealing with wax my car looked great- all with far less elbow grease expended than the last time I did it by hand! Having the bag is great as I can keep the different heads, masking tape, clay bar, etc together for next time I want to loose a few hours making my car shine!

I cannot review this machine in the context of being better or worse than other similar machines.I cannot tell you that this saved me any effort. Infact I spent longer polishing my car today than usual.I can tell you that I'm not a professional valeter, but decided against a simple disk polisher as I read that it's far harder to damage the paint using one of these orbital machines.I can tell you that the reason I spent a little longer doing the car today is because the results are absolutely stunning. 6 year old car that we have had from new, and today the paintwork apart from the odd deeper scratch and car park dent is better than it was when delivered.I used this machine with:SPTA 5inch (125mm) Hex-Logic Polishing Pad kit For Car Polisher Pack of 5PcsUltra Gloss Hard Paste CARNAUBA WAX High Quality Pure Carnauba Wax High Shine Instant water beadingAgain I cannot say that this is the best combination, but the finish is superb. I did the front first and was so pleased with the results that I went back over the entire car with T-Cut and removed every last speck of tar and insect debris, followed by the carnauba wax and lastly some Turtle Wax gloss guard. Pretty much all of the spider web crazing is gone, minor scratches have polished away and the paintwork is essentially good as new.The bag that the machine comes with is very practical and large enough to accommodate the machine with the handle attached, pads and a tin of wax. You will need an extension cable but the lead on the machine is a decent length.If you are new to this type of machine I would recommend watching the youtube video.[...]

As far as polishering goes the machine worked fine, although it's a little under-powered for larger pads. Why the poor score? Poor reliability, I've only used mine a few times and yet the switch has failed.

Great for the money and ideal for anyone with little/no experience. have used mine to good effect for a while now and whilst it leaves a car looking amazing, it doesn't quite have the grunt to remove deeper surface defects. Anyone moving into a more professional role should consider something more powerful. But I must stress, this is a good little machine!

great machine, i use it for polish and for applying a coat of wax, speeds thing up alot compared to hand, also had a problem with 2 bolts missing but amazon were on the ball and had it sorted within 1 hour of recieving it, their customer service is a1

Great piece of kit!I have spent years polishing cars by hand. I just wish I had of discovered one of these sooner. Quick and effective.

Works like a treat, buffed a colleagues Jaguar XF using the buffer, although the car was heavily swirl marked it did a lot better than I thought. Obviously more work than a rotary buffer but got the job done safely. Guess only negative I could give is the lead isn't very long.. apart from that 10/10
