No description which mentions it has an answering machine** A: Yes there is an answerphone facility. A flashing red light on the phone denotes that a call has been received and that an answer has been left. **Q: When a call is incoming, does this phone display the name of the caller stored in the phone, without subscribing to caller ID?** A: My Panasonic TGC220EB does show caller numbers but I am on BT and get Caller Display as part of the package.
