Can I connect my Ipod with a cable to it?

Initially, I couldn't get it to work at all, but you have to switch from bluetooth to aux. So, in order to use a cable to connect a mobile device (iPod nano in this case): The AUX connector accepts a 3.5 mm stereo cable plug (not provided). Using a 3.5 mm stereo cable, connect your mobile device to the AUX connector on your speaker. Press the ‘on’ button on your speaker. Press arrow button next to blue tooth button. The Input indicator glows white. Play the iPod but don’t have the volume up high. This worked for me.

What latency is this device ?

This connects as soon I turn my PC on and never fails to connect and this is the first bluetooth speaker that doesn't stutter with sound maybe my pc bluetooth is updated or bose bluetooth is the latest one.

Can you play a usb stick through the speaker

The answer is NO. There isn't a USB port on the speaker, you would need to plug the USB into your gadget where the app is playing, e.g. PC, mobile, which is bluetoothed to the speaker. The speaker is "instead" of listening on your device, but with much better quality.
