Sika SikaSeal General Purpose Silicone Sealant, White, 260ml

I'll start by saying that I have never used any other sealant so I have nothing to compare it with. That being said, as someone sealing for the first time, I found this product very easy to use when paired with a sealant tool. I thought I was setting myself up for failure with a cheap metal sealant gun, cheap sealant tool and cheap sealant but I am very surprised with the result. The sealant was very easy to apply and the excess was easy to remove once finished. I was replacing the seal on a bath that had been sealed previously by a professional. I went in thinking that I was going to have to get a professional in after I had finished to redo my work and to my surprise it looks just as good as the previous application. There was quite a gap between the bath and tiles but this sealant was ample thick enough to get the job done once I trimmed the nozzle down. My only gripe was that some sealant managed to find its way out of the bottom of the nozzle where it is threaded but this was only a small amount and could have easily been user error!

This brand is always a solid option at a good price and when bought at a discount even better. Bright white colour, easy to use, dries quickly and is durable. Bought a few of these over the past couple of years and never been disappointed.

Look, no doubt you can get cheaper. But that would entail leaving the house, going to a DIY place or Screwfix etc..By the time you've done all that, it's not cheaper and you've wasted time getting it. I needed to do a couple of sealant jobs around some uPVC windows and a door. What can I say? Six months down the line it's still there doing its job. Durable, good value, and delivered to the door!

This ifor the price is good quality stuff, the nozzle is super easy to cut to what size you want. It lasts a very long time, and it’s super easy to use! You can use this for literally anything you want really as it’s very versatile. It goes on very smoothly and has a very good seal to stop any liquids. You will need a caulking gun-tool for this. Other than that you don’t really need anything at all as it’s super easy! To re silicone my whole bath it took me around 20 mins and this was my first time ever even trying to sillicone.

Would recommend going for one that helps prevent a Mold especially if you're using it for the bathroom
