Just received the torch which closely resembles an insulated drinking mug in appearance and size, yes its small, its lightweight, its versatile and its powerful, despite only having 3 led's in the torch part they have a very good long range while not using much power, the lantern part has more led's giving a good spread of light but less usage time. I like the ability to regenerate more battery power if needed and the opportunity to tap off this power for a phone or ipad that has gone flat. The torch comes with 2 leads that would match a few phones etc and the adjustable torch handle can cleverly house one of these leads, very handy. A very well thought out product at a very good price. Stated usage time after 1 minute cranking; torch 15 mins, lantern 6 mins, red flashing light 2 hrs, then after a full charge from pc [via lead] or adaptor [not supplied]' ; torch 5.5 hrs, lantern 2.25 hrs, red light 30hrs One question I would like an answer to is 'periodically put the lamp on charge' or words to that effect, seeing it is charged via the laptop I wondered how long it is recommended to be left plugged in before it is deemed to be sufficiently recharged, the laptop wont tell me and neither will the lamp I have now had this torch over 2 years, it sits on a shelf in the cellar and has had occasional usage, still retaining a bit of power but quickly boosted with the crank handle, what I particularly like is the thought that while it sits idle there is no deteriorating battery corroding terminals, its a brilliant piece of kit

I have been delighted with these lamps. We get powercuts sometimes.They have bright lamp on the side, and powerful torch on top. You can also wind up the handle with your phone plugged in and charge your phone. They have USB and the other sort (not lightning). Very reassuring to have these in. I bought 2 and glad I did as you can both walk around with one of them.

This is a very good torch, at a reasonable price. The head of the lamp (featuring 3 LED bulbs) is quite bright. You can charge this via USB (e.g. direct from a wall socket [if you've a plug adapter], or thru a computer). Or you can use the wind-up handle, and power it yourself. Additionally, you can connect a device - e.g. a mobile phone - to this torch, and charge that devise via the wind-up mechanism. As such, this is a handy lantern to have if you go camping. The body of the torch also serves as a light - but it's not very bright. You can select between white light or flashing red for SOS (which is quite dim). The handle can be titled, depending on how you choose to hold this torch. It's made from plastic, and is rain proof. When fully charged, it will function on full power for about 2 hours - and from then onwards will dim. After about 6 hours, it's completely flat. I paid £13 for this product. I've used it for camping, and it works well. I've added some photos (including one with a mobile phone, for size comparison).

Bright enough and also keeps its charge when not in use so no surprise. Winding up is pretty effective and does not require a high level of fitness or massive muscles...! Winding handle is of good quality. We have actually used it in the house following electrical issues, power cuts and for DIY. It won't light up a massive room but it is not what it is supposed to do. Good back up or to go down the garden or outdoors. Good for reading too. Been used as a lantern as well as as a torch. The handle can be used at different angles such as wedging the light on top of a cupboard door and be able to use both your hands for DIY... Quite versatile and practical. Does its job. Happy with purchase.

Lovely and bright torch with the two normal light options - bottom and middle plus I love the extra option of the usb outlet to charge up a mobile, mp3 or kindle. Not tried these and would guess you would have to do a lot of winding to ensure enough power to use the items but in a case of an emergency - E.G: power outage, out and about, camping etc., and phone died then this would come into its own no matter how much winding is involved. The windering is fairly easy and even a child or someone with arthritic hands could manage it especially due to the handle design which makes it easy to hold the lantern. I do plan to try and charge a phone with enough power to make a call and then a kindle/tablet and an MP3 player just so I have an idea of how long to charge each one and will try to remember to post back here. For someone who likes to ensure she has ways of coping if a power cut strikes at home and has been running a group to help people cope for nearly 20 years I will be recommending this lantern to my members ( and anyone else - campers etc.) Yes for me this lantern gives 5 stars and full marks for design and usability.

Bought 3 for when the power goes out. These are fantastic, bright and sturdy and have a crank handle to charge your phone if your battery gets low and there's no electricity.

Very pleased with this. First of all it has a standard micro-USB as opposed to the proprietary cable on my old torch which makes charging it easy. It's much more robust that my previous torch (which got broken in my rucksack). It throws out really a lot of light, I like the hazard light option as well as beam and lantern options. I was puzzled about the handle a bit as I couldn't see why you'd need an adjustable handle but when I actually took it camping all became clear. If you crank the handle out at 90 degrees to the torch, it helps it balance in lantern mode on uneven ground - very clever! It doesn't have any carabiner loop which initially annoyed me a bit as you can't hang it up, but once I'd worked out the handle I realised it's much better to stand it on the floor of the tent than to keep bashing your head on it suspended from the top and have to keep hooking and unhooking it. The winding crank is at the top which makes it quite easy to wind too. All in all, I'm quite impressed with Duronic stuff, very reasonably priced but not skimping on design and performance.

Great flashlight/emergency light, easy to charge and must for home and camping use and car use.

Habe mir die Lampe für eventuelle Notfälle gekauft, Stromausfälle usw. Ist sicherlich auch gut für Outdoor, Camping usw. verwendbar. Die Kurbellampe macht sich sicherlich auch gut im Auto, bei Notfällen in der Nacht, wird man auf der Straße evtl. besser gesehen und sieht selbst besser, die Alarmblinkeinrichtung ist für diese Fälle auch gut. Durch die Handkurbel ist man nicht von externen Stromquellen abhängig. Taschenlampen-, Laternen- und Signal-Rotlichtfunktion machen die Lampe sehr vielseitig einsetzbar. Ein USB Kabel um das Handy aufzuladen ist auch mit dabei. Verarbeitung ist auch richtig gut, es knarzt nichts, Ergonomie stimmt auch und der in der Neigung verstellbare Handgriff ist ein Plus für die Handhabung. Echt gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Ausleuchtung entspricht sicher nicht derer von batterie- oder netzbetriebenen Lampen. Wer einen kleinen Flak-Scheinwerfer erwartet muss dann aber auch tiefer in die Tasche greifen und diverse (teure) Stromquellen immer mit dabei haben. Die Ausleuchtung ist aber auf jeden Fall ausreichend und gut zu gebrauchen. Das Licht ist etwas grell, aber das stört mich nicht. Ich bin froh dass ich mir diese Dynamo Lampe gekauft habe und werde mir evtl. noch eine fürs Auto zulegen, für Notfälle, die man hoffentlich nie haben wird. Wer ein ähnliches Anforderungsprofil an eine Lampe hat wie hier beschrieben und mit dem zufrieden sein kann, bekommt gerne von mir eine Kaufempfehlung. Ich hoffe dass man möglichst lange Freude daran haben wird. VlG Alex. Nachtrag vom 27.02.2019: Habe mir nun noch eine für das Auto gekauft. Es gibt zwar kleinere, faltbare Dynamo Lampen, In Puncto Handhabung und Preis/-Leistung ist diese hier aber unschlagbar. Produkte die vielseitig und entweder mit und auch ohne Strom, Batterien usw. nutzbar sind, machen immer Sinn, vor allem in Gegenden und Situationen in denen es keine Steckdosen gibt. VlG Alex.

Très bien pour la fonction lampe torche. Pour la partie usb pouvant à priori charger des petits électros je ne suis par contre pas convaincu. Testé avec le smartphone, manivelle pendant 1 bonne minute et même pas gagné 1% de batterie.

Es muy buen producto 3 en 1. Por un lado tenemos la linterna: De tamaño ideal para usarlo, alumbra bastante bien y lejos Por otro lado tenemos luz para ponerlo encima de la mesa mismamente. Alumbra muy muy bien Y por ultimo tenemos la luz rojo parpadeante, para emergencias. Dura bastante la luz, mas de 12h, para cargarlo es super fácil también, con un ratito dándole a la manivela es suficiente. vale para todo tipos de edades y para cualquier situación. 100% utilidad

El producto está más o menos, no se siente muy resistente, el vendedor un asco, envió el producto más de 5 días posteriores e incluso se inventó un supuesto problema con Amazon, que nunca existió, aconsejo buscar ese mismo producto pero en otra plataforma más seria que Amazon.
