Gentle option, helped my dog through a week of vomiting
Our dog has had hunger pukes off and on since he was little. And he did it quite a few times in a short period and either irritated his system or he had picked up some kind of bug from wildlife. He went through about a week of nastiness and this formula helped a lot. He got to a point where the smell of strong food in the morning would get him retching but luckily we had this on hand and it became his bland diet and he would eat this formula when other foods didn’t appeal to him. We’ve tried a few JFFD recipes and this one is drier and has less fat texture than others. It seems like a brick that you can crumble on top of food or serve alone. It is not financially sustainable for us to feed only fresh to our two very large dogs, but if you have a small breed who really struggles with stomach problems give this a try. I’m impressed with this company as they are trying to provide real food more affordably. This recipe may not be suited for long term use as their sole nutrition because it’s a high ratio of rice to turkey, and it has sunflower oil but it helped our situation immensely. Make sure you’re working with your vet but I’ve seen nothing but good things from JFFD with use as a topper on every meal.

Nice option for something different
I've never fed my 7 pound Shorkie frozen dog food before, but she absolutely loves human food of all kinds, and scarfs it down as fast as possible. I picked this particular mixture because she is allergic to quite a few things and figured the less ingredients, the better. I heated up a small portion for her in the microwave, because the food didn't seem appetizing to me if served straight out of the fridge. She approached it cautiously, probably because it was mostly rice, which she isn't used to having. This food did take her longer to eat, which was a nice benefit, and she did finish it all. She even did her low growl at the end to alert me that there was some left in the bowl that she couldn't get out, so I had to assist so she could lick the bowl clean! Overall, I don't think I will switch completely to this kind of frozen delivered food because it is quite costly, but it's nice to give her something different occasionally. I'd like to try the chicken and rice option since it has veggies in it.

Weird but My dog lived it
Okay, so as a human being, I look at this food and think it doesn't look very appetizing. But I defrosted it and the minute I opened the package. My dog was going crazy.. Now, if you look at the ingredients, most of the ingredients are rice, which is probably why it looks so unappetizing. It's basically just a bowl of rice. Don't quite think a bowl of rice is very nutritional. It really would be nice if there was some actual meat in it. But my dog likes it and my dog is very picky. So this makes a good alternative to her boring kibble. Every moist food I have tried giving her gives her diarrhea. And so far, this has not seemed to do that.. So if you overlook the fact that it's mostly rice. And you're looking for something that will not upset your dog's stomach for a picky dog with a sensitive stomach. This might be a good option to add to kibble.

My dog ate two bowls then stopped
I didn't like how dry the food looked nor the fact that it didn't have any gravy to it but that's not what it's made for. It's made to be a dogs consistent diet and although my dog started out good she tapered off by the second bag. I tried to add hamburger grease and she still decided she's not eating it anymore. It's kind of expensive at $10 a bag but each bag is two meals. Atleast for my 50 pound dog. So that's not too bad.

Not a hit, but still a good food
Sadly my picky princess isn't a big fan of the food. We've tried several Just Food For Dog varieties and she has always loved them. She has a sensitive tummy, so these foods have been great for limiting ingredients but providing great nutrition. I use them in addition with her kibble. But she wasn't much of a fan of this. While I can't ask, I suspect this one is just more bland? It has less ingredients than most of the others we've tried and certainly doesn't look as flavorful to me. I mixed it with some of her other food and she ate it fine then. No upset tummy so I don't think the problem is the ingredients (she is very good about avoiding things she knows make her feel icky).

My dog loves it
I have a very finicky dog. Getting him to eat consistently is a constant struggle. I ordered JustFoodForDogs Frozen Fresh Dog Food for Sensitive Stomachs and hoped for the best. My dog loves it. I give him half of a pack per feeding, and he finishes it right away. It is a bit dry, and I do end up with small flecks of turkey all over the feeding area, but it vacuums up easily enough. You do have to remember to defrost the packets, but you could defrost it in the microwave in a pinch. The only reason for the 4 stars is the price. While you do get a decent amount of food, nearly $70 for 7 packets is pricey. The quality of the food is great, and I love that it is nutritionally complete. But at nearly $70, I don't think I'll be reordering this frequently.

My dogs seem to like this.
Point blank, my 3 dogs all seem to like this food. They are young and old and ages of all stages. I thaw it over night and then crumble it room-temperature over their dry kibble and they devour it. I've also put some in the microwave for 10 seconds and they devoured it all the same. I wish it had slightly thicker texture and chunks rather than be a quinoa type of consistency. It basically looks like crumbles of white quinoa. I assume it's healthy because of the limited ingredients. I also think this is a convenient alternative and supplement to feeding. I'm all for trying new things to see what works best.

Good limited ingredient dog food
Food seems good quality and arrived still hard frozen even though it was a hot day. I'm not sure I can rate the flavor but my dog seems to like the food. It's basically just white rice and ground turkey so good for sensitive tummies.
