Hand knitted in the typical way of settlers of Tintorero, small settlement from Venezuela, South America. Artistic handcraft elaborated at home in the village with the participation of the whole family. Each piece is artisanaly produced with a special cotton yarn with natural colors. Although settlers use them as their common bed, this is extraordinary for resting, a relaxation moment with a soft drink. It comes with two ropes to easily tie up, only need two firm points to slightly stretch it between them. Tintorero is a small settlement east of Barquisimeto, very near from the indigenous name of Quibor, in Venezuela, plain of artisans dedicated to the knitting art. A tradition of more than 400 years, today they knit their hammocks with cotton yarn in completely artisanal looms, with a finishing of extreme beauty and excellence. The hammock has a clear indigenous origin, destined to resting, sleeping and making love.
