RX-LOX-PM Mount Lock 2 Pack with Keys Compatible with Rotopax Standard Water Container, Gasoline Pack, Storage Box, Fuel Pack - Sturdy and Durable

Instead of buying the 'brand' name version of this mounts, I purchased these and am very happy. Currently on a road trip through Mexico, the extra fuel tank has been helpful and these mounts have worked perfectly with multiple uses - as they are advertised. They are strong, have a nice locking mechanism and are very self-explanatory. I am only using one of the mounts currently, but it's nice to have the option to add a second fuel or water tank the outside of my van, if needed. A couple of notes on the installation: the base of the mount has multiple holes and comes with 4 screws / washers allowing for multiple attachment configurations. In my situation, I could only fit 3 of the bolts and given the size of the holes I was mounting to (the MOLLE panel to which this is mounted on the back of my van has slight larger holes), I needed to get larger washers (something to keep in mind). The larger washers kept the bolt from sliding through the mounting holes and provided a better attachment for the device. Despite only using 3 bolts and washers (as shown in the video), the fuel container is very secure. Obviously, if I had room to use 4 bolts, I would have. I highly recommend these mounts as alternatives to the more expensive brand name versions. I assumed they'd be just as good and was pleasantly surprised.

Every bit as good as the RPX brand at a fraction of the cost. These locking mounts are of very nice quality and do their job well. They hold my RPX gas cans SECURELY to my utility racks on my JK. I would definitely buy these same mounting locks again!

If you need to mount gas/water jugs that use this style mount then these are for you. Good quality build and work flawlessly.

This lockable mounting bracket is okay! Company would benefit if it had a protective cover that slides over top to keep lock from water and dirt. Overall I think it is fine for the securing of Rotopax water and gas jugs. Just be sure to keep the lock mechanism well lubed. Easy mounting on my overland rack to carry extra water. I bought 3 sets of these.

Great product. Very sturdy

I purchased a pair of these to save a few $$$ over the more expensive name brand. They seemed to be well and installed without issue. They held the rotopax as expected and these seemed to be a wise choice. Fast forward to first overlanding trip. I need to add some gas, so I tried removing one of the rotopax and found it almost impossible. After messing with this mount and finally getting the rotopax off, I discovered the bolt is bent. All other components seem good, but the bolt appears to be of such low grade material that the weight of a 2 gallon rotopax bent it, making it impossible to tighten or loosen the nut. Not great in the middle of the trail in the Rockies.

Christmas present so I won’t knee hire they worked until next year

Works well with my existing cans, and works similarly to the brand name mount that I also have installed. Great that they are keyed-alike, and should last for some time. The backing plate was flat black, although the rest of it was polished black. Only time will tell how long the backing plate and mounting hardware last in the elements, but overall I'm very satisified with this 2 pack that cost less than a single from the big name mount people. I likely have 2 more to install and will buy these again.
