Multi Spray Gun

I generally find that Hozelock components are good quality and work better than cheaper equivalents. This spray gun is no exception - bought to replace a much cheaper version of the same type which did not last even one summer gardening season before the trigger mechanism broke. So I put this false economy fubar piece of plastic down to experience and purchased the Hozelock one. Now folks, there is one person who is never impressed with my efforts at economising and that person is... the wife. The garden is her domain and whoa betides anyone who gets between her and the watering of her precious plants. So you can imagine her dismay when my latest economy purchase gave up and she had to dig out the watering can. I recall her exclamation of "oh dear hubby darling, that pesky watering gun you thought was a real bargain, well dear I'm afraid that the trigger has just broke and I fear it is definitely fubar dear (¬****** up ¬beyond ¬all repair)" she added as she brandished a jagged portion of cheap thin plastic under my nose. Anyway, for my wife's good humour, her plant's wellbeing and, last but not least, my future survival I got on the web and via Amazon purchased a very decent piece of engineered plastic. Which works reliably and is reasonably priced. It has also earned me a pat on the head and its purchase has gone some way to my redemption in the eyes of... queu scary music... The Gardening Wife.

Very sturdy and well built hose adapter. Couple of gripes with this though. When changing the settings it's very easy to loosen the grey ring by mistake. Also unlike the none pro version of this there is a definite click when selecting the desired setting. On this you get no click so unless fully aligned it's leaks. Do t think it's worth paying extra for the pro version

Very useful attachment for a hose. Although there are several settings, some are fairly similar. Easy to handle. Good feature to be able to lock on/off. Seems sturdy, expect it to last well.

I purchased a Hozelock multi-jet spray gun two months ago. After approximately a dozen uses, leaking water has started to spray out of the join between the front part of the handgrip and the main handle, with the leak increasing in force as the sprayer is operated. We do NOT have a high pressure water supply here, nor has the item been dropped, frozen or otherwise mistreated. Looking at similar Hozelock spray guns in a local store, I discovered that some of them appear to have moulded one-piece handles (without a separate front piece where the leak occurred). Clearly, the multi-spray gun I received was NOT manufactured to the standard one expects from Hozelock-branded items - and reading other Amazon reviews, I see that I am not alone in having this leaking handle problem. The result is that this is the last Hozelock item I will ever purchase - since it was annoying to discover that Amazon only allows returns of faulty items for 30 days after purchase.
