Finally decided to abandon the little gas torch I've been using for ages to fit heatshrink. This little gun is so much better I wish I'd bought it ages ago! Solid and well made it inspires confidence.

Use the small 4.5mm nozzle for solder reworking & for removing components from boards. Doesn’t need to be able to adjust temperature in my opinion works really well. Although the price was £38 when I bought it but the next day was £71. Glad I got it when I did.

The product is rugged and works well. The only two main complaints I have about are:1) Temperature regulation is not possible (a dial would have been appreciated)2) The only power switch is located at the top. A additional push button for tasks where I only require short bursts of heat for a short period of time would have been great. Having to turn the main switch on and off all the time can feel a bit repetitive

I brought this in order to perform re flow soldering, I am no expert when in comes to electronics and find other forms of soldering hard to do due to my hands shaking, with this it made the job I needed it for allot easier than standard soldering. Though a bit chunky it is easy to hold and aim because of its grip near its end and was able to complete the soldering of connecting pins to a Toaster power supply a few moments using the smallest end supplied with the heat gun.

I'm really pleased with this item. I watched a YouTube vid of one and it seemed really noisy and it put me off?I looked around for a few hours and couldn't really find one that I like. So I bought this product and glad I took thechance as it's not that noisy at all.. And works good :)x

1- The plus is european and they added adaptor for it for UK, which is not safe to use those are banned2- The tool when powered turned on and started to make terrible noise very loud3- The on off button does not work its stuck in on so its basically non functional straight from the boxI bought this item for quite a lot of money because of the german brand name, turns out quality control is terrible and the item provided is e waste, I will be returning this, but think of the cost to environment and my own time

Well made

I used this product for a retrofit of an OEM accessory on my car. After soldering the wires together, I used double sleeved heatshrink which contains glue and this product worked brilliantly securing and protecting the solder join. I will also be using this for my headphone amplifier builds as well!

Die Heißluftpistole ist qualitativ gut verarbeitet. Düsenzubehör ist dabei. Einzig das Kabel ist sehr widerspenstig und leider ist kein Aufbewahrungskoffer dabei.

Hade tänkt att använda den för smd lödning, vet inte om den kommer fungera för det men för småhobby är den perfekt.
