Power Rangers 4K UHD [Blu-ray]

Having grown up on power rangers on Saturday morning TV and wanting to be a spandex clad ranger (then a few years ago finding out "power rangers" didn't technically ever exists- Google it) then when older seeing the movie ruined power rangers forever..... My eldest son asked for PR for Xmas and I was forced to oblige BUT glad I did as this film is pretty good as 95% of the cheese was gone leaving a good film which focuses on character development, misses out the typical bad outfits of previous PR films and throws in some good computer graphics and is definitely a much "darker" take on anything PR that had come before probably as most PR fans are in their 25+ age group now 😁

This was much better than I expected! After being young enough to see the original films from when the TV series was airing, I thought Elizabeth Banks played a fantastic Rita Repulsa (after her usual comedic performances in the Pitch Perfect franchise).Not too fused about the 3D version, as all good TV's and 4KUHD players convert 2D-3D effortlessly. I haven't watched it in 3D yet, but what I have watched, I was impressed and hopefully another film will be franchised!A definite must see, and as for being 'dark' as previously commented, especially for the kiddies - well, some films that have been classified by the BBFC as suitable for younger audiences, would never have been rated the same in my day.Anyway, good storyline, good acting (not wooden at all for unknown actors), some fantastic action scenes - I highly recommend!

Great video quality, decent plot and a good reimagining of the original show but needed more morphed action.

This movie is fantastic, yes it takes a while to get them in their awesome suits, but its an origina thats just the way it had to be.PROS:- Great Remake of a classic Series- Looks fantastic in 4K- Features Dolby vision as well as HDR10- Rita is just fantastic- Original theme song from the original movie (brief, but awesome)- Great Price- Bonus features on the 4K discCONS:- Released Much later than the USA- No 3D release in the US or UK

I’m not a fan of the cheesey Power Rangers programmes we all know and hate, but my 6 yr old boy is.Took him to see see this at the cinema and thought the film was great.This UHD disc and the regular Blu-ray Disc that comes with it both have stunning Dolby Atmos audio which has become a demo disc for my high end dedicated cinema.

Never was a PR fan as kid/teenager, but this one did sound interesting. No disappointment here: Great picture, great sound and the storyline is not too shabby as well. Pretty much perfect as a demo UHD as well.

the 4k ultra hd blu ray disc version has greatly improved sound and picture quality over a standard blu ray disc when played through a ultra hd blu ray player and a 4k ultra hd tv with hdr (high dynamic range)
