It rapidly removes odors, discolorations, and toxic substances from both freshwater and marine tanks, delivering crystal-clear water within 24-48 hours. Its solid, dust-free form ensures mess-free handling and long-lasting use of up to 6 weeks, making it the go-to choice for millennial aquarium enthusiasts seeking hassle-free, professional-grade water clarity and fish health. This product is easy to use and fits all types of aquariums. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe and effective use. Review: An optional filter media which is well worth trying. - This is an optional filter media which replaces the black carbon sponge. It does a good job judging by how active and healthy my fish appear. I mainly got it as you can buy carbon & zeolite granules in bulk to refill the box rather than pay out for the expensive juwel sponges. Saves money and keeps the tanins and toxins out of the water. I also noticed a bit of a reduction in the classic aquarium smell from the water. ## Features - Granulated active charcoal philtre media, quickly removes odors, discolorations and unwanted toxic substances from your aquarium water, keeping it healthy and clear. - Fish - FISH EQUIPMENT ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00GNJCDOI | | Best Sellers Rank | 44,596 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 712 in Aquarium Filter Accessories | | Brand Name | Juwel Aquarium | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,218) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04022573880588 | | Item Form | Granules | | Item Weight | 0.13 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Juwel Aquarium | | Manufacturer Part Number | 88058 | | Model Number | 88058 | | Pet Type | Fish | | Target Species | Fish | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Juwel Aquarium - **Item form:** Granules - **Item weight:** 0.13 Kilograms - **Manufacturer:** Juwel Aquarium - **Unit count:** 1 count ## Images ![Juwel Carbax M Aquarium Activated Carbon, High - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71RROlXo9FL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleans water fast—traps chemicals, odours, and discoloration with zero clouding or faff. *by G***E on 21 September 2025* Used this in a Juwel Bioflow filter system on a 120L tank—slots straight into the media basket, no trimming or fiddling.
