They’re perfect for young beginners and it’s helpful to practise with the same type of ball they’re already used to in class. Good quality and definitely worth having for extra practice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for under 8 year olds *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 February 2026* Perfect first starter tennis ball. Would recommend. Exactly what you youngest uses during lessons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ are very good for either dogs or kids *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 February 2017* I bought these for my dogs as the standard dog balls fall apart instantly. These however, designed for kids playing tennis, are very good for either dogs or kids.Much softer than a standard tennis ball, but with plenty of bounce. They are sturdy and have withstood my dogs chewing with enthusiasm, so should put up with a kid chewing them too if need be. They are larger than a standard tennis ball, ever so slightly, I'd say maybe an extra CM diameter, but easy to hold and soft, so safe for bouncing off little people when things go awry.So in summary, slightly larger softer and lighter balls for anyone with children or pets. Good quality and seem built to last. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/47966772-youth-tennis-balls-starter-and-us-open](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/47966772-youth-tennis-balls-starter-and-us-open) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
