It does what it says.
I didn't know the story behind these little cats when I was given one by a friend. Then I noticed that when I put the battery in and the wee cat started waving its little paw good things started to happen. It might just be a coincidence but hey whatever makes you happy. My son and daughter had both moved out of home into their respective apartments so I decided to buy them one each as a gift. Since they have had their Fortune Cats good things have happened to them too. They just love their little cats and have even given them names. Lol. Again could all be a coincidence. I am now going to buy some more and give to my friends as a gift. I love them.

Lovely little cat
Lovely little cat! It didn't seem to work when we first put in the battery but there's a note in the box that explains how to get its arm moving. Doesn't seem that robust but looks great.

Sadly this didn't work. Nothing happened after putting a battery in. Product is also very flimsy. Would not recommend.

Luckier than the gold version?
I love my lucky cats (yes I own more than 1). The most common cat is the gold version, but I decided to buy this black one as I have a black cat pet. The battery isn't easy to get in, but once it is in, it seems to last forever and I have only changed it once after it waving for over a year. Recommended to lucky cat lovers... will it help you win the lottery.. that's another question.
