I would like to know the height of the stand on its lowest setting please?

285mm as in the description........

The instruction says you can’t lift vehicle on x4 axle stands but I bought x4 axle stands just for this reason, now I am scared, isit safe to do so ?

I’m not sure where you’ve read this, but they don’t recommend you lift with axle stands. You should use a suitable trolley jack for the lifting as it is safer. Then use the axle stands as a back up in case the trolley jack fails. Once you’ve raised the vehicle using the trolley jack, these will hold most vehicles as they are rated 3 Tonne each stand (6 for the pair). I’m guessing your vehicle isn’t heavier than this either at the front or the back.

Has anyone managed to find some rubber pads that fit these?

I have seen them before on Amazon and online but to be honest any sort of soft rubber would be fine, old bicycle tyre or something like that is the job. You could also dip the ends in epoxy resin if you were that fussy

Bought the associated rubber split weld caps but they are not wide enough to fit these, can anyone link any that are please, need to be 1.5 incheswide

Hi l had the same trouble but in the end l made some pads out of thick carpets and used tape to searcher them on.
