Seeking Health L-Methylfolate 1mg Supports Healthy MTHFR, Mood, and methylation- 60 Capsules

I have a genetic deficiency MTHFR for vitamins, I take this and one other vitamin to help obsorption. I only wish I knew about this years ago. Love that I can get this good quality sppliment here

Works better than regular L methylfolate! I recently dropped my dosage from 15mg regular L methylfolate to this product (1mg of Quatrefolic) and am seeing better benefits and effect from this!! Would recommend!

I've read a lot about L-Methylfolate and wanted to try it. It's considered a medical food and works differently than antidepressants. The brain uses L-Methylfolate to make more of the neurotransmitters that affect mood. A majority of people with depression have a genetic mistake, called the MTHFR polymorphism. It is an enzyme defect that compromises the body's ability to break down folate (from the diet or from synthetic folic acid found in vitamin supplements) into the L-methylfolate the brain needs to make neurotransmitters. I like the fact that this product doesn't have any magnesium stearate, an additive found in many supplements and may be harmful therefore a cause for concern. Each capsule is 1000mcg. of Folate as Metafolin, a registered trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt,Germany. L-methylfolate as Metafolin requires no conversion by the body and is superior to folic acid. While shopping around I found this product and bought some because I was impressed with the ingredients, dosage and good price.

This review isn’t super glowing nor do I have anything negative to say. Albeit the main problem I feel is that my body can methylate properly; therefore this product doesn’t have a huge upside. That being said I did notice a marked uptake in my ability to digest and sleep better. My overall feeling is that if you’re a one of the large percentage of American who find creating B vitamin folate problematic this stuff. Works.

This supplement is far more critical than people might realize. This product helps the body with it’s methylation cycle which involves many bodily processes and helps folate get into the body. Folic acid blocks folate and biochemical processes are blocked that are needed by the body. Folic acid is in supplements and food and if you are not on the look out for the presence of it your folate is being blocked. It is in “enriched bread” so be on the look out for that too. Wheat also blocks folate. Love this product! Love the company! They promote health in those with MTHFR mutations and are very proactive with ASD treatments and alternative medicine. This product literally changed my life. I have thyroid issues and compound heterozygous MTHFR, I feel 1000% better: more energy, I'm happier, no headaches, and I'm pregnant! After recurrent miscarriage, I honestly believe this was the missing link to my fertility and pregancy viability.. Bc I was not absorbing folate in other vitamins.. My son has ASD, and I often wonder if it wasn't partly caused by the missing folate of my first pregnancy.. I've been taking this for 6 months, and will continue to do so as long as I live!
