Dewalt DCD795M1 18 V XR Brushless Compact Lithium-Ion Combi Drill

Had this for a few months now. No complaints at all. It's done everything I've asked of it. Adjustable clutch provides a really useful range of torque settings. 2 speed ranges and pressure sensitive trigger provide excellent speed control. You can undo screws etc. in an instant. The battery lasts a really long time. I haven't managed to drain it yet. I top it up now and again. I haven't had to buy a spare battery. Well balanced. Feels comfortable and ergonomic. I'd buy it again. Although it may be cheaper to buy the body, battery and charger separately. I don't use the case personally.

Just brilliant. Had mine 4 years and still works like new despite all the abuse it takes. Has been dropped in wet cement, dropped from height and used everyday. Has the original 4ah battery that still last days for general use. Drains faster when drilling heavy steel but not by much. Everything is good. Not as heavy and cumbersome as the 3 gear model but also very powerful whilst still being lightweight and compact. Perfect for roofing. Can't recommend enough.

Although I have been a long term customer, this is my very first review posted on Amazon as I am extremely impressed with their service. The quality of customer service is only really evident when things go wrong, as they did when I ordered this cordless drill. It arrived yesterday within a couple of days or ordering despite it being on standard delivery. My old MAC drill was getting past it and I wanted to upgrade. The DeWalt range is impressive, no question, and this drill reflected it – sturdy, well packaged and obviously made for the professional. A serious bit of equipment! I unpacked it and tried it. All looks good. I then unpacked the charger, plugged it in, inserted the battery pack and… nothing… no charging light, nothing. I re-read instructions and yes, there should be a flashing red light indicating charge. There wasn’t, so I knew it had to go back. I went online to organise and print off the returns label. Packaged it all up and dropped it off at a local Amazon appointed drop-off. I received an email from Amazon saying the replacement has been ordered. That was 2pm yesterday. Today at 10:00am the replacement arrived! How excellent is that!!!??? Impressive!!!

Having been in the middle of a building project for a number of months now it's hard not to notice the proliferation of Dewalt tools used by the builders, electricians, plumbers etc. When my old Ryobi 18V drill/driver gave up the ghost recently (in fairness it was never great) I decided to treat myself to a DeWalt. I decided on this model as it had the all metal chuck and was brushless. The compact form factor was also a key factor. When the first one arrived on Thursday I have to say that I was disappointed. The clamshell case was out of alignment quite badly and the battery was very loose. I immediately contacted Amazon who sent me a replacement which I got the next day (well done Amazon, great customer service). Whilst the case on the new one was much better, the battery was still a little bit on the loose side. Having googled this problem it appears that this is a well known issue on a number of DeWalt powertools. Having been assured by these reports that this issue doesn't affect the performance of the drill I decided to hang onto it and see how it performed. Having spent 10 hours yesterday building some speaker boxes and drilling holes for speaker wires in a ceiling I can now report that it's a little powerhouse of a machine. I also used the hammer setting for drilling into bricks to put up some battens and it made light work of that too. Surprisingly after all that work the battery indicator was still showing almost full charge. Amazing. It's going to get loads more work over the coming weeks so time will tell how it performs longer term. So far though very pleased with its performance, if not the finishing touches of the case.

fantastic Dewalt combi drill bought as a replacement for an older version Dewalt that has finally given up the ghost, a lot of thought was given before this was bought as was a look at the Makita and Milwaukie equivalent versions but after sterling use from my other drill this model was purchased, great drill with the 4ah battery for longer use comes in a very sturdy Dewalt box which also has room for a second battery and small drill accessory box only negative side is that the drill does not come with the drill bit attachment but this can be purchased for a few quid, after this was bought I ordered the Dewalt drill bit box with all the various bits that you might need, I would recommend this drill to anyone

Item arrived today, Drill, box and charger but no Battery. As Item description states a 4mAH battery is included I have been forced to return the item and hope that the replacement comes with a battery as described. The stickers on the box even said one should have been included so who knows whats happened to the one from this box. That said the drill looks great, nice and compact. Box looks like it will have room spare inside to hold some drill bits and spare batteries.

Perfect! Came with a battery charger, hard case and 4AH battery. The drill itself has a work light inbuilt. And the battery has a button to tell you the current charge. Description on Amazon should be better, but that has no relevance to the quality of this product. Already recommended to a friend! Bought when on offer at 65% off. Would not pay full price. It is worth it but out of principle i wouldnt have paid full amount for a drill. 5 stars!!

C'è poco da scrivere su questo oggetto, il migliore di tutti. Avvitatore a parte con questa batteria installata mi permette di lavorare per ore e ore, compresi fori nel cemento armato o addirittura passanti

Produkt sehr gut aber....es wird immer wieder Pakete unerlaubt auf Fremde Grundstück abgelegt, teils mit Beschädigung von Gartentüren ( unerlaubtes öffnen) Inakzeptabel.

C'est une petite perceuse de la gamme XR mais qu'elle puissance!, j'ai utilisé cette perceuse dans du béton, bois et fer et rien a dire superbe. La batterie de 4.0A est très bonne, bonne pour plusieur jour parfois mais si vous prené une 5.0A en plus .... vous êtes bon pour la semaine :) La prise en mains est géniale avec un bon équilibre, je sens bien la qualité. Le meilleure est le mandrin, Attention a bien sérrer manuellement pas en le tenant pendant que vous vissez sinon leur système de sérage ne sera pas entièrement engagé. Donc le mieux est de commencer avec la perceuse puis quand elle réssiste tourné à la main, vous allez entendre une série de cliques et quand c'est très difficile de continuer à tourné c'est bon! pas de désserage. Je recommande pour professionnel et amateur qui aiment les bons outils.

acheter pour un gros chantier (ossature bois), elle est tres bien. La batterie de 4.0 Ah tiens presque la journée( une petite recharge pendant la pause repas permet de d'éviter d'acheter une 2ème batterie) La puissance est bien là, des vis 6 x 200 et 8 x 120 rentre le bois assez facilement. Elle est robuste et semble fiable. Reçue avec chargeur aux normes française.

Il mandrino gira storto non in asse, questo difetto è molto grave, diventa inutilizzabile nei lavori di precisione. La spina del carica batterie non è italiana, se commercializzata in Italia è d'obbligo almeno il riduttore. Ultima cosa ma questa meno importante la cassetta non è studiata ad hoc per il contenuto, quasi come se non fosse la sua, il carica batterie non ha un alloggiamento ben definito.
