There's a knack to using this. "Amazon Prime" parcel tape is especially resistant.
You need to find the right knack. I find the curved blade's end is too curved round to stab easily into parcel tape. Also it feels a bit too blunt. Parcel tape printed "Amazon Prime" is particularly resistant which now seems to be on most of my Amazon parcels (sent via Prime or not). Not easy to slice parcel tape in one go, it requires butchery instead. The blade cover is a bit stiff so it requires extra care when lifting it up and over, but this might loosen up in time. I wish I hadn't bought this but it's not worth the hassle or cost of returning it. It will probably go in the bin as charity shops won't accept blades.

It's the perfect tool to strip 1
I'm a telecom worker, I use this to open up the sheet of PET / PEUT copper cables to get to copper pairs inside and prepare those to be connected in PCP or DSLAM. It's the perfect tool to strip 1, 2 or 3 meters along the sheet of copper cables without damaging the copper pairs.

Flawed but good cutter
Really good cutter , but a little bit fragile. Not exactly guaranteed for life but good for its multiple cutting blades for splitting cable ties cling film wrapping and cardboard boxes. Would recommend

Bit bulky but does the job
Standard cardboard safety knife. Probably a bit thick where the blade is. Overall happy with the product but the plastic is too thick and could be made thinner.

glued on screws. Be careful when replacing blade
Tried to replace the blade , turns out the screws are glued at the top . Safe to say it was an awful job to do and a miracle the knife didnt break or anyone got injured.Once i removed the glue it assembled fine but why was it glued om in the first place i will never know.-2 stars for the health risk and -1 star for using glue on screws on a reasonable priced item

The found it easy to use and alot safer for them than using ...
Cheap and cheerful safety knife. Used with nieces and nephews cutting cord to tie my bean sticks. The found it easy to use and alot safer for them than using an exposed blade.
